Improve the reading skills such as scanning for specific information and guessing the meaning in context Teaching aids: textbook, poster and papers Methods : Integrated, mainly communicative Procedure Teacher’s activities Time Organization 1’ Greet Ss Introduce T attending the class Check Ss’ attendance Checking the old lesson Give Ss sentences and ask Ss to rewrite the 1’ sentences using cleft sentence with different focus on subject, object and adverb + Peter plays the piano at the concert Check and give mark Warm –up Game : Whispering reading books, watching TV and going 5’ shopping listening to music, singing and watching sports spending time outdoors, playing a musical instrument meeting friends and swimming • Rule : the students at the back of the class of teams will whisper these activities for the person Ss’ activities -Greet T -Reply T -Call Ss to go to the board and write down the answers Suggested answers: -
