The University of the District of Columbia; George Mason University; Georgetown University; YMCA College in Chicago; as well as at Iranian colleges and universities Before the Iranian Islamic Revolution in 1979, he served as the Director of the Iranian Scientific Research Center for the Ministry of Sciences and Higher Education Professor Parhizgar obtained his undergraduate and graduate degrees from The University of Shiraz and The University of Teheran, and his PhD in 1972 from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois His postdoctoral fellowship was at Northwestern University in 1983, and he spent his Hospital Administrative Residency and Internship Assignments in St Paul Ramsey Hospital, Minnesota;
