Don’t worry if you are not any good at swimming because there are lots of other ways that you can exercise and keep fit in. A very good way to do this is by using an exercise machine such as an exercise bike. If you don’t have one, you can go out for a little jog. That really helps. It is recommended that you do about one to two hours of exercise a day. Having a nice little run is a simple but effective way to exercise and it works for lots of people. For those people that find it difficult to do physical exercise, they can always go on a low fat diet. This stops the build up of fat in your body. Usually there is more fat in females and by doing a daily workout, it will go very quickly. If you are suffering from obesity, my best advice would be to do at least an hour exercise each day and preferably go on a diet until you feel that you have lost a stone or two. The Pearl by John Steinbeck is the retelling of a legend about a fisherman who finds a huge pearl, realizes the discovery is destroying his life, and returns the pearl to the sea. It is told in a style so authentic that readers feel they are hearing the story from one of the villagers who knows all the characters. Some critics have pointed out that this book was really the author’s statement about the danger of creating an imbalance in the natural environment. When the fisherman throws the 6 pearl back into the sea, he is restoring the natural order. In fact, Steinbeck was a member of an expedition to explore marine life when he heard the legend of “the pearl of the world.” Other critics have suggested that Steinbeck’s concern for the conditions of the working class was reflected in the relationships among the characters.
