OBJECTIVES:By the end of the lesson Ss will gain • Knowledge: - Vocabulary: The vocabulary in the lesson from unit 9 to unit 16 - Grammar: phrasal verbs,adverbial clause of time - Skills: writing, reading, speaking II. TEACHING AIDS: • Teacher’s preparation: lesson plan, handout • Students’ preparation: text books, revising the lesson at home B. PROCEDURE: Time Teacher’s activities Students’ activities 5' 10' 20' *. Warmer - Greets - Checks students’ attendance Who is absent today, the monitor? . I.Presentation -Ask Ss to review the use,form of phrasal verbs and adverbial clause of time. -Elicit from Ss that Phrasal verbs have two terms:non-idiomatic meaning,and idiomatic meaning Form: • V + Pre + O • V + particle + O • V + particle MĐ TT chỉ thời gian được bắt đầu bằng các liên từ: when /whenever/before/after/since/ as /as soon as/while/till/ until / just as/no sooner than hardly when/as long as -Ask Ss to give some examples.
