II/- Language contents: 1/- Grammar: - Suggest + V-ing - Review: Adverb clauses of result ‘so’ 2/- Vocabulary: water bill, enormous, plumber, pipe, crack, drip, turn on/off, faucet. III/- Techniques: Pairwork, Ask and answer, Brainstorming. IV/- Teaching aids: Pictures. V/- Procedure: T’s and Ss’ activities Content 1. Warm up (5 mins) - T. gives a situation: Now, it’s . . . o’clock, I think we should turn off the lights. - Ss answer: OK/ All right/ That’s good idea. - T. introduces the new lesson: + How can the lights be bright? + How can the electric fan run?  depend on electricity - T. asks Ss list some energy. - T. presents the new lesson. 2. Presentation (10 mins) - T. asks Ss to look at the pictures and talk with the partner to make a list of things the family could do to save energy.
