• Describe and calculate the electrical characteristics of solar, wind, and hydrogen renewable energy sources under different environmental

conditions

• Apply electronic circuit theory and simulation techniques to analyze power electronics circuits such as dc/dc converter and dc/ac inverter

• Design and implement a power converter to regulate output voltage from a solar panel

• Develop maximum power point tracker (MPPT) for extraction of

maximum power from the solar panel

• Explain and understand how the economical, marketing and political issues influence the development of renewable energy systems in
