Part 1 Group Regulation

This rule is made based on discussion and agreement of all group members:

I Regulations regarding group meetings:

- Meeting time: every Monday evening, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM

- Location: at school, a café, or via Google Meet

- Number of expected meetings: 4 times

- Participate in all meeting sessions; if absent, notify 1 day in advance

II Guidelines for expressing opinions:

- Avoid offensive language and criticizing others

- Do not interrupt when someone else is speaking

- Limit discussions unrelated to the lesson

- Do not repeat points previously made by other members

- Express opinions clearly and specifically

- Ask immediately with a misunderstanding

III Scoring regulations:

- Regularly check for updates in the Zalo group

- Respond to messages with a "like" or reply within 5 hours if understood

- Failure to respond within this time frame after being contacted by other members results (in a deduction of 0.25 points)

- Permissible absence from a meeting is not to exceed 2 times (deduct 0.5 points each time; exceeding 2 times results in a deduction of 1.5 points)

- Unexcused absence from a meeting results in a deduction of | point (exceeding 1 time results in a deduction of 2.5 points)

- Timely completion of assigned tasks

- Permissible late submissions are not to exceed 2 times (deduct 0.5 points each time; exceeding 2 times results in a deduction of 1.5 points)

- Unexcused late submissions result in a deduction of | point (exceeding 1 time results in a deduction of 2.5 points)

- Complete assignments thoroughly and as per requirements; insufficient work or failure to meet requirements results in a deduction of 0.5 points

I First meeting:

SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM Independence - Liberty - Happiness MEETING REPORT First meeting

- Time: 8 a.m on Ist July, 2023

- Place: The Coffee House

* Participants:

- State group regulation

- State the group’s target in this course

(2) Content:

- Firstly, we would meet and greet many members directly

- Everyone will talk more about themselves like their style of working, what they expect in this project

- Secondly, we started state the group regulation, the leader said some simple miles

first, then others add more in their view

- After a long discussion, we had state our regulation conclude 3 parts

- Thirdly, we targeted that we will complete the required work to earn an A+ in this course

* Meeting content:

(1) Target:

- Understanding clearly the requirements of the project

- To unify product ideas

- Identify and distribute required work

- Give deadlines

(2) Content:

- The leader repeated the lecturer's requirements to the group's members

- The leader requested each member to give a product

- Pham Lé Thao Nhi advised Durex condoms in order to be unique

- Cao Trung Nguyén gave idea of new sanitary napkin of Diana

- Nguyễn Thị Bảo Ngan recommended Alpenliebe mango candy filled with salt and chili

- Everyone voted for the Alpenliebe candy

- Nguyén Thi Bao Ngan wanted to change to Honda motorcycle because she says that candies idea is too simple

- Everyone agreed to switch to motorcycles and decided to promote the ShMode 2023 Series

- The leader show the task management sheet for overall content for the event proposal report

- Nguyễn Thị Bảo Ngân had some questions about that sheet and want to change a little

- Everyone voted for the decisions and agreed to keep the original one

- Cao Trung Nguyén is responsible for the introduction; time and venue for the event; Powerpoint

- Pham Lé Thao Nhi is in charge of the main idea of the event; Powerpoint

- Võ Thị Ánh Nguyên chose the timeline; human resources part and presentation

- Nguyén Thi Bao Ngan will build the marketing plan; budget plan and presentation

- Time: 8 p.m on 17th July, 2023

- Place: Google Meet

* Meeting content:

(1) Target:

- To comment and contribute ideas on other people's work

- To fix the errors of other work

(2) Content:

Cao Trung Nguyên:

- Phạm Lê Thảo Nhi advised Cao Trung Nguyen to modify location, time of the

event

- Nguyễn Thị Bảo Ngân advised Cao Trung Nguyên to open an example: SH mode is

a car line that has received a lot of attention from consumers as well as customers, is

the first choice of consumers in recent years, After that development, released a

new car line called SH mode 2023, stating the main ideas as follows: what is

outstanding / different from the old line / how is the improvement / what is the inheritance of the old ones Finally, bringing out the conclusion about that give

consumers what, suitable for whom color and then divide the version, each version

has its own personality

- Võ Thị Ánh Nguyên wanted Cao Trung Nguyén to talk in detail about outstanding things about SH mode and the reason why everyone chooses it if not other bikes

Pham Lé Thao Nhi:

- Võ Thị Ánh Nguyên wanted to decorate the product (SH mode) in check - in location for people to see the quality and the its beauty

- Nguyén Thi Bao Ngan found choosing the perfume is necessary ? and should take a lot of mini green trees to decorate

Võ Thị Ảnh Nguyên:

- Nguyễn Thị Bao Ngan wanted to point out the duty of each person in the opening event and make a specific list of guests Besides, Altering “THE OPENING EVENT”

to “MAIN ACTIVITIES”

- Võ Thị Ánh Nguyên suggested Nguyễn Thị Bảo Ngân should create a mini game to give a valuable present for customers and employ PG to stand and take a flyer to speed up media about this product

- Pham Lé Thao Nhi wanted to add more marketing about product in reality than social media

Fourth meeting

* Meeting content:

(1) Target:

- Rehearsal for the presentation on 4th August, 2023

- Comment, evaluate the sample presentation

- Adjust some mistakes or unsuitable things for presentation

- Nominate who control slide for Anh Nguyén, Bao Ngan (speakers)

(2) Content:

- Anh Nguyên, Bảo Ngân present the proposal

- The team leader will be the person responsible for switching the slides during the presentation session

- Other members will provide feedback on the presentation: it's smooth, easy to understand, and the pronunciation 1s relatively good

- The team leader suggested cutting out a section to shorten the time

- Trung Nguyén proposed refining the animation of some slides and recommended that both presenters speak louder

- The presentation will be redone once again It met the time requirements to a

reasonable extent

- The team leader and the members reminded everyone about attire and presentation techniques to ensure an excellent presentation session

- Summarize and evaluate the result of project

- Evaluate, judge all of members

- Finish the part of difficulties and solutions in process of teamwork

- Nominate who will hand in the report

- Dissolve the group

(2) Content:

- First 15 minute: Evaluate Cao Trung Nguyén

- Cao Trung Nguyen self-assesses: what has been achieved and not achieved within the group, self-evaluation, discusses violations of group regulations

- Other members evaluate Trung Nguyen based on member evaluation criteria (explain reasons based on what criteria for assessment)

- Team leader compiles scores

- Next 15 minutes: Evaluation of Nguyen Thi Bao Ngan,

- Nguyen Thi Bao Ngan self-assesses: what has been achieved and not achieved within the group, self-evaluation, discusses violations of group regulations

- Other members evaluate Bao Ngan based on member evaluation criteria (explain reasons based on what criteria for assessment)

- Team leader compiles scores

- Next 15 minutes: Evaluation of Vo Thi Anh Nguyen,

- Vo Thi Anh Nguyen self-assesses: what has been achieved and not achieved within the group, self-evaluation, discusses violations of group regulations

- Other members evaluate Anh Nguyen based on member evaluation criteria (explain reasons based on what criteria for assessment)

- Team leader compiles scores

- Next 15 minutes: Evaluation of the team leader,

- Other members evaluate the team leader based on team leader evaluation criteria (explain reasons based on what criteria for assessment)

- Team leader compiles scores

- 20 minutes for evaluating project completion results,

- Members evaluate the work process and level of completion for the project

- Members evaluate the presentation

- Highlight points not achieved and points achieved for the project

- Team leader synthesizes evaluation opinions and presents final results

- Members vote to agree on the results

- Next 5 minutes: Team leader assigns Bao Ngan to submit the report

- Final 5 minutes: Team leader announces the dissolution of the group, ending the work process

Part 4 Self-assesment And Comments Of Members

I Pham Lé Thao Nhi (Leader):

1 Comments about difficulties and solutions:

Teamwork is a skill that everyone knows and experiences However, few people realize and appreciate that teamwork is an important skill that we must learn and practice to improve our ability to work effectively in groups During the process of learning this skill of teamwork, I have encountered many challenges and I have realized that teamwork is not as easy as I imagined and I must continue to practice to

be able to do this later work in groups more effectively

For me personally, this group work was a difficult time for me in particular and for my team in general when we were randomly assigned by her to complete a joint project I'm normally used to working with old friends, so having to re-acquaint myself with and change the way of working makes me a bit confused At the same time, the previous times, the roles of the members were quite equal, so this time when

I was elected as the leader - a leader who led the group, it was obviously quite

difficult for me But with the trust of the members, I can finally be more confident as

the leader I am very grateful to the instructor and friends for giving me this opportunity

Regarding group activities, the non-scheduled activities among members had affected the group work process a little bit, but the group has gradually adapted and gotten used to meeting every week to evaluate and discuss the work At first, the group also had some communication problems, giving opinions on what we were assigned to do because the group was still not confident enough to give their opinions After more contact talks, encouraging everyone to freely express their opinions, the group has strongly developed ideas for the group's work In the process of working, I and the members also actively ask questions when there are unclear areas and are ready to enthusiastically help other members After every working session, we will have a meeting to evaluate the work At that time, the members also actively gave their opinions and the members who were asked to edit were also very happy to accept and make additional corrections During the process of working as a group, there were also some issues that arose such as there were times when your ideas about the concept did not match, but the group calmed down and resolved it based on the majority opinion and ended well Through this group work, it gave me a great experience, seeing my strengths and shortcomings to practice to overcome

Through this course, I myself have learned a lot about teamwork skills from theory to applying it to working practice such as skills of listening to presentations, managing assignments, giving opinions and giving presentations respect, help each

other, be on time, etc Thanks to that, it is the foundation for me and my frends in the

following subjects to work in groups and also as a foundation for working in the future group effectively
