Background
In today's world, almost every student has a high-tech device or internet account which makes social media becoming increasingly vital in both schools and the industry, unlike in the last twenty years, the online world has changed dramatically, with the invention of the internet everybody now exchanges ideas, feelings, personal information at a truly astonishing rate Social media provides very large information to exchange and collaborative interaction among individuals and computers without regard for geographical limitations of space Because of its ease of use, speed and reach, social media is fast changing the public discourse in society and setting trends and agendas on different topics Moreover, by using social media such as Facebook, Messenger, or Instagram teenagers can share visuals, information, knowledge and start new relationships, make friends so we can not deny that social media has a significant role in the pedagogical environment.
Purpose
My research intends to examine the real-world issues that students have when using social media and how they manage them in order to support their academic goals and the educational program that is primarily targeted at IBD students in order to get data This article may also offer some effective strategies for helping kids improve their learning skills.

Research methods
INTRODUCTION
Social media is an internet website that can be used through smartphones, tablets, and laptops, social media allow us to create, share information, ideas, and other forms of expression through virtual communities and networks The advancement of social media has a significant influence on the way people communicate in daily life, especially students The use of social media among youngsters getting more and more popular while they study at university Particularly teenagers and young adults have embraced these websites as a means of connecting with their peers globally, exchanging knowledge, reinventing themselves, and showcasing their social life (Boyd, 2007) Social media is where students can make connections, not only on campus but with friends in normal life It can make an impact on how students spend their time, activities, and their performance at school
This study will include extensive research into the benefits of working in teams and the reasons why social media is an essential factor for students, especially undergraduates I will also investigate some methods which people can do to have a better effect on learning.

1 The advantages of social media in university
Some research suggests that using social media while studying can enhance the result even though we study alone or with friends
According to Hasnain research studies the relationship between the use of social media and students’ academic performance In Pakistan It showed that young learners can learn new things and improve their academic performance if they use it properly In similar research on the basis of random sampling, around 300 students were selected The questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection The questionnaire received from respondents was analyzed with descriptive statistics Results indicate that the effect of social media can be positive and extremely useful in their academic work (Amin, 2016)
In addition, he concluded that students who spend the time of their day in activities on social media have able to share information and create new ideas, concepts related to their studies they also use social networks to entertain which will affect their academic results
2 The importance of social media
The importance of social media on campus is undeniable Moreover, the studied relationship between the use of social media sites and the academic performance of the students of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Centro Escolar University- Malolos showed that social media directly affects the students at school Social media and academic results have affected each other which means when you are using social networks while studying it affects your academic performance Social media can enhance the ability to study more easily and effectively, with social media students and teachers are getting closer they can communicate whenever they have questions The nature of the connections between students and teachers is changing as a result of the use of social media in higher education Social media offers a distinctive forum for communication between students, as well as between students and teachers Students find it comfortable and easy to communicate, acquire information, and offer information through social media (Chugh, 2017)
In addition, students who use social media can make a relationship and share knowledge more easily study together through various communication means such as smartphones, and tablets, Students need to share ideas, opinion, their daily tasks Social media also help users to find examples of the issue they concern about such as homework, life, and school projects They can play online games and have more fun after studying hard which will relax them and guarantee a good mental, conscious mind
3 The negative issues of using social media
Apart from the advantages of using social media on campus, there are some issues that students may have to face while using it Some students use social media for other stuff that does not relate to their study will make them distracted from their main purpose and they will be addicted to social media A recent survey revealed that roughly 75% of teens in the United States use the Internet more than once per day and that nearly 90% of kids in the country have access to the Internet (Kist, 2008)
Moreover, there are some scams on social media that the victim is a youngster who does not have enough awareness about sit which makes them a waste of time, money or maybe their life so students should use it correctly and avoid abusing it and lead to the bad performance in studying
Another problem while using social media is bully Bad students use their clone accounts and chat with the victim with bad words which affects their minds, mental and is still a big problem for every educational place.
CONCLUSION
With the existing research studies, we will summarise the information about the importance of social media Based on our study, we will analyze this information and research students in IBD to collect more primary sources

According to Jacqueline Whitmore: When you check your mail too frequently, you become reactive rather than proactive (Morad, 2018) However, based on IBD students’ answers we can see that 43,5% usually check their school message at least 1 time per day while 36,2% said that they often check their work mail 2 to 3 times a week Furthermore, 18,8% answered that they just check their school mail once a month and only 1,4% of students never check it.
In conclusion, students normally check email once a day, this number can be higher when the university has special events or exams

A survey by Monica Anderson and Jingjing Jiang states that Facebook controlled the social media landscape among young Americans up until recently (Anderson and Jiang, 2018) but this is not right for IBD students Pursuant to Dave Chaffey, 2,910 million people use Facebook, 2,562 million people use youtube while 2,000 million people use WhatsApp, and 1,478 million people use Instagram.
In a little more detail half of the IBD students who were asked said that they are using Instagram while 38,6% said that they are using Facebook Moreover, Twitter was used by 5,7%, and just only around 6,7% of IBD students using other social websites such as TikTok, and Snapchat.
In conclusion, popular and developing social media is still the best choice for IBD students to utilize and social media is an indispensable part of nowadays.

The chart indicates the proportion of the biggest concern of IBD students when using social media
Euro 2021 is the most famous topic searched by Vietnamese in 2021
(Anonymous, 2021) However, this info is not similar to IBD students because the most popular topic concerned by IBD students is news with 34,8%, and the second place is Celebrities with 33,3%
Moreover, 17,7% of students answered that sports are their biggest concern when using social networks 8,7% of IBD learners search for fashion when using the internet and only 4 people who were asked answered that they look for knowledge and information.
In conclusion, IBD students often search for the topic that they are interested in at their age.

According to the research by Noman Tariq and Hira Rashid: 43 percent of students agreed that their teachers have the ability to improve their abilities, which they do by using Various methods for improving their abilities (Tariq and Rashid, 2018)
However, based on IBD students’ answers 42% usually chat with their teacher about the school project meanwhile 33,3% ask their professor about the homework that they need help Furthermore, 18% of students are often concerned about how to enhance their soft skills and 5,7% are curious about sex education
Therefore it is very important and necessary that teachers should communicate with students in an effective way.

The chart shows the percentage of how much time the IBD students spent on social media per day.
Based on the research by Trần Thị Minh Đức and Bùi Thị Hồng Thái pointed out that 2,9% of youngsters use social media under 1 hour, 43,5% use it for 1 hour to 3 hours, 31,5% use from 3 hours to 5 hours, 14,9% use it for 5 hours to 8 hours, and 7,2% use it more than 8 hours (Đức and Thái, 2022) Another research in 2016 showed that students normally spend 1 – 2 hours per day or more than 2 hours per day on social media by 32%, respectively whereas 24% of students said that they spend 30 minutes to 1 hour per day, and 12% of people spend less than 30 minutes on social websites
However, IBD students answered to show that they normally use social media for
7 hours to 9 hours by half while 25% use it for 4 hours to 6 hours In addition, 14,3% of students use social media for 1 hour to 3 hours and just 10% use it for more than 10 hours which is considered to be a social media addiction.
To sum up, we can see that IBD students spend more time on social media than the average This causes some effects on their academic performance but this number is still acceptable.

With each passing day, social media plays a larger role in our lives As a result, privacy in these networks is more important than ever What you do and say on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn can have a significant impact on your life, for better or worse (Writer, 2012)
A survey in 2018 by Prachi Bhardwaj reported that 27% of students who use social media were bullied, 17% got into harmful relationships, 14% got distraction because of social media while 4% said that it cause mental health problems
According to IBD students, 60,3% answered that privacy policy is the biggest worry when they use social media and 26,5% think that they can be scammed through it such as money scam Another problem students face when using social media is a fake relationship, a fake account which accounts for 10,3% whereas 2,9% answered that they can be cheated by fake news on social media.
To conclude, there are some drawbacks that students have to face while using social media, and they have to be careful to avoid these bad aspects of social networks.

A survey in 2014 by Mario Kresic, Karla Kucel, Snjezana Babic showed that 33% of students use social networks to communicate with other students, 27% use social media for social activities, 18% use it because of education, 8% use it for online commerce while 5% people use social networks for their job and 9% use it for other reasons.
However, according to the results answered by IBD students, 59.4% of students who were asked explained that they use social media to find the information they are looking for to support their task or project Sherri Gordon said that: They can gather information if they have concerns that a friend may be struggling with an eating disorder or a drug addiction Or people can use their social media profiles to learn more about a presidential race, climate issues, or even how to eat healthily
