Ha Long city has an area of 1,119.36 km², the population in 2018 is 300,267 people,population density reaches 268 people/km² The natural area of the city includes the landarea and hundreds of limestone islands in the bays of Ha Long, Bai Tu Long and Lan Ha.Thus, currently, Ha Long is a provincial city with the largest area in the country, larger thanthe three smallest provinces: Bac Ninh, Ha Nam, Hung Yen and approximate to the centralcity of Da Nang According to the 2019 census, the city's population is 322,710 people
