Compare two jobs: Interpreter and translators In the field of applied English, almost every student wishes to work as an interpreter or translator after their graduation. At the first look, these jobs seem to be similar but there are some points that are totally opposite between them. One difference is the working time required. Translators work in working hours, normally 8 hours a day, and have more time for personal interests and family. Sometimes, they can ask to work overtime to earn more money or kill their free time. As the accuracy is highly required, both excellent workers in these areas can earn or reward with a lot of money after the translation project or tour. Moreover, both offer the opportunities to have knowledge applied and experience improved. For written and spoken English are relatively commonly used by translator and interpreter, they can have gradually develop their language ability. With the regular contact with clients and boss, they can promote their communication skills and train their confidence.
