Statista Purpose of the article The report covers and provides statistics about the eCommerce Fashion segment n in Vietnam which contains Clothing, Shoes and Bags & Accessories which are sold via a digital channel, e.g., desktop computer or mobile device, to an end user Users represent the people who bought at least one Fashion item in the last 12 months Well-known online shops for Fashion products are Asos, Zalando, and Macy's Survey respondents: ● Survey sample distributed by gender : The percentage of female and male respondents accounted for 54,3% and 45,7% respectively ● Survey sample distributed by age groups : The survey is based on main age groups, in which the age group from 25-34 years old accounts for the largest proportion with 31.9% , which is times larger than the age group from 55-64 years old with only 7.7% Methodology: Descriptive Statistics Data coverage: Data refers to B2C enterprises Figures are based on the sale of physical goods via a digital channel to a private end consumer This definition encompasses purchases via desktop computers (including notebooks and laptops) as well as purchases via mobile devices (e.g., smartphones and tablets) Forecasts: The forecasts apply diverse forecasting techniques The selection of forecasting techniques is based on the behavior of the particular market Additional notes: The market is updated twice per year in case market dynamics change The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is considered at a countryspecific level The impact of the Russia/Ukraine war is considered at a countryspecific level II/ Analysis of the technique used in the article Descriptive statistics, specifically frequency table, bar chart, line chart and cross tabulation are applied in this article for the following purposes: Frequency tables Users by gender Percentage (%) n Male 45.7 Female 54.3 TOTAL 100 Figure 1.1 Fashion Ecommerce users by gender in Vietnam It is not surprising that women spent more on fashion products online than men, with 54.3% compared to men’s 45.7% Age groups Percentage (%) 18 - Statistic destroyed my life 55 Economic Statistics None Statistic-exercise - An exercise in our 4th week of lecture 13 Economic Statistics None Figure 2.1 Fashion Ecommerce users by desktop or mobile groups in Vietnam The graph shows the number of survey respondents choosing to use Desktop or n Mobile to choose fashion products over a 10-year period from 2017-2027 According to the bar chart , the number of survey respondents using mobile devices to purchase fashion products is steadily increasing Figure 2.2 Fashion shopping methods in Vietnam n According to the chart above, in 2017, the percentage of customers choosing fashion products via offline overwhelms the online method (91.3% compared to 8.7%) The percentage of people who shop online increases steadily in the following years, which shows that the market is changing based on the development of technology However, at the end of the 2027 cycle, the percentage of people shopping offline still doubles online, which shows that buying the most important fashion products is still that customers should go in person and try it on to see if it suits them are not Figure 2.3 Fashion Ecommerce’s revenue in terms of segments in Vietnam n The above data shows that revenue from segments: Accessories , Apparel and footwear increased sharply from USD 0.57 billion to USD 2.36 billion in 2023 and is expected to increase to USD 3.73 billion in 2027 ● Users by income : In this data , almost all respondents usually sleep 6-8 hours at night This is really good for their health ●Satisfaction with sleep amount n Overall, most of people who have taken the survey rated their satisfaction with sleep around to which is not very satisfied and to which is satisfied with their sleep ●Quality of sleep Overall , the majority of survey participants rated their sleep quality around to , this proves that they sleep quite well On the other hand , only a few ● How does mood affect sleep ? n people have trouble with their sleep In this histogram , it can be seen that many people mark their mood or on the scale to 10 which is a positive sign n ●Energy level of respondents According to this data , having a good sleep is vitally contributed to a high energy level , which help people to work more efficientlly during the day ●Effect on memory (From to 10 ;1 is insignificant, 10 is significant) n In this diagram , many people agree that sleep have some impact on their memory Most of them mark the impact of sleep on memory from to out of 10 which is a significant amount ●Does sleep affect relationships: In this data , statistics have shown that the mean is computed to be 4.82 which n stated that sleep only have some impact on their relationships but not at a significant amount ● Poor sleep cause anxiety ? n Looking at this graph we can see that it is a positive skewed graph that has a range from (no anxiety) to 21 (severve anxiety) However , its mean value only stay at 6.34 which is normal and show that sleep only have small impact on creating people’s anxiety ● Do Poor quality sleep in a long period leads to depression ? This data is range from ( no depression ) to 12 ( high level of depression ) However , its mean value only stay at 3.5 , this is shown that sleep only have a small impact on causing mental health diseases , especially depression n n Despite the fact that there is a difference in gender, most female and male respondents agree that their quality of sleep is fair, good and very good Only a small amount of them think that their sleep is poor or very poor n According to this multiple bar chart , the majority of survey respondents in the two age groups ( under 37 and 38-50) have a good quality sleep , while the age group over 51 tends to have problems sleeping The majority of survey participants in the two age groups (under 37) and 38-50 have good quality sleep, while the age group over 51 tends to have problems sleeping The majority of survey participants in the two age groups (under 37) and 38-50 have good quality sleep, while the age group over 51 tends to have problems sleeping n In this multiple bar chart, it can be seen that most of the respondents are married, that is why their line account for highest amount in this graph Moreover, quality of sleep are very good among single and married people Meanwhile, divorced and widowed respondents experience worse quality of sleep compared to other type of respondents n Looking at this graph, it can be clearly seen that there is a strong connection between the quality of sleep and the hours of sleep per week of respondants There is clearly a trend that the more hours people sleep per week, the better their quality of sleep will be And from this chart, we can also come to the conclusion that respondants who sleep 7-8 hours/ week will have the best sleeping quality, therefore having a positive influence on their working productivity Looking at this graph, it can be clearly seen that there is a strong connection between the quality of sleep and the hours of sleep per week of respondants There is clearly a trend that the more hours people sleep per week, the better their quality of sleep will be And from this chart, we can also come to the conclusion that respondants who sleep 7-8 hours/ week will have the best sleeping quality, therefore having a positive influence on their working productivity n n n n
