1 Opinion Some people claim that museums and art galleries are not needed today because everyone can see historical objects or art works by computer To what extent you agree or disagree? In this day and age, many people argue that works of art or historical remnants can be observed online; therefore, the necessity of traditional museums and art galleries is denied This can be a sound argument but to me personally, I disagree with this opinion since museums or galleries are still of great importance in the modern world and justifications are as follows There is a wide array of reasons that account for the magnitude of museums but the most prime one is that humans are given the opportunity to contemplate great art works In contrast to hectic schedule at work or at school, it is likely that the exclusively designed space and ambience in museums or galleries may act as a hub for entertainment and it will help people feel relaxed Additionally, having real experience of seeing history-related objects or famous artworks will generate inspiration or new sources of ideas for those who are not only in the field of art or history but also for people in other professions The second reason is that museums and galleries help us develop a sense of respect towards history and art of our own country or other countries in the world Admiring real historical objects or artworks can help people learn more about their own country’s history and aesthetic field , thus making them cherish part of their national identity Furthermore, the sophistication of art or the intensity of war will be shown, which enable people to experience the authenticity that cannot be seen on the Internet The most conspicuous case-in-point is when one can observe the real “Mona Lisa” at the museum, it may be a valuable cultural experience that hardly anything can compare In summary, although some people may claim that museums or art galleries are not necessary in the modern world, I am still in favor of the opinion that they still play a critical significance in our life Discussion Essay Some cities create housing for growing populations by building taller buildings while other cities have opted to build on wider areas of land Discuss both views and give your own opinion? In order to address the prevalent problem of overpopulation, some cities construct higher apartment blocks while others create larger residential areas From a personal viewpoint, since both these solutions have their own benefits and drawbacks, a third one which is rural development hereby will be presented For once, towering multifunctional apartment complexes can provide urban citizens with offices, accommodation, life amenities, and venues for recreation or entertainment within limited areas of land in the downtowns However, they create a high level of population density with inevitable consequences including traffic congestion and pollution More spacious residential areas, on the other hand, reduce population density so that residents will have more green space and fresh air Nonetheless, given the currently restricted land resources in many metropolises in Vietnam, such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, this solution is virtually impossible After decades of developing without appropriate urban planning, these cities nearly depleted all their land resources With the aforementioned pros and cons of both the two provided options, developing rural areas can be a more fundamental solution It is unquestionable that rural residents flock to cities in search of a better life Therefore, bringing what they need closer to their hometown is the only way to reduce the influx of migrants into megacities from the very root of this issue Vietnam’s National Target Program on New Rural Development can be an excellent example With infrastructure development and improvements in education, healthcare, and the labour market, Vietnam’s countryside can ensure higher standards of living for inhabitants, which removes the need for migration In conclusion, although taller buildings and wider residential areas have their own benefits, they cannot resolve the core of overpopulation Socioeconomic development in rural regions, on the other hand, is a more convincing solution Advantages-Disadvantages In the past, most people worked for small businesses, while more people now work for large businesses What are the advantages and disadvantages of working for large businesses? In the past, the majority of people were employees of small companies, while nowadays more people choose working for big companies From my perspective, the advantages of this trend, particularly higher income and other additional benefits, can overshadow its drawback which is pressure On the one hand, it is understandable why employees of large companies are usually under great pressure, which is the major drawback Working for large enterprises requires people to perform many tasks and complete them before deadlines Should they fail, they can be punished by their manager or even fired, so they are constantly under tension, especially for beginners For example, my cousin works for Vingroup, one of the largest enterprises in Vietnam At the beginning, she usually worked overtime at weekends or at night, so she did not have enough time for relaxation However, the pressure has taught her to manage her time and work more effectively now Nevertheless, from my viewpoint, the advantages of working in a large company outweigh the drawbacks The first benefit is higher income because large enterprises usually have strong financial resources As a result, they are willing to offer high salaries to attract experienced and hard-working employees Moreover, working in a big company also brings many other additional benefits such as working conditions, insurance, and relationships For instance, in a large company, the office will be equipped with good facilities namely air conditioners, modern computers, and stable Internet connection Most big enterprises organize summer trips for employees to de-stress and create connections between members in the organization In conclusion, working for large businesses has more advantages, which are high salary and other additional benefits, than drawbacks, particularly stress Causes and effects/ Causes and Solutions/ Problems and Solutions Essay Today more people are overweight than ever before What is your opinion are the primary causes of this? What are the main effects of this? Nowadays the number of overweight people is constantly increasing This essay will discuss the main reasons for this epidemic and then describe the possible effects of the problem In my opinion, the foremost causes of obesity are inactive lifestyles and unhealthy eating habits Today more and more people rely on cars instead of walking, have less physical demands at work, and prefer passive leisure activities This results in burning fewer calories and gaining weight Moreover, the problem is accentuated by the growing number of people, who eat irregularly and consume large portions of high-calorie food For example, about 50% of the adult population in Europe with so-called disordered eating suffer from obesity The possible effects of this problem include physical health problems and loss of productivity First of all, obesity results in incorrect functioning of the human body and contributes to the risk of developing some chronic illnesses For example, as body fat percentage increases, the person’s metabolism worsens, which in turn may result in diabetes or heart disease Secondly, overweight people are very unhealthy and often suffer from stress and tiredness This lessens their work capacity and results in lower productivity For example, it has been proven that an obese person needs to put more effort to complete some tasks than a person of average weight To sum up, obesity is a big problem that affects a lot of people nowadays It’s mainly caused by an inactive lifestyle and eating disorders and results in severe health problems and loss of productivity Cause and Solutions Student leave high school without learning how to manage their money What are the reasons and solutions for this issue? There is a common problem amongst high school graduates these days where students are leaving school without any knowledge or skills in personal money management This essay will outline a number of reasons for this trend and a number of possible solutions to help tackle the issue High school graduates’ lack of money management skills is attributed to various factors One main cause of this issue is that the majority of high school students live with their parents and are completely financially dependent upon them Most students not need to work to earn money while at high school, as their parents pay for all their needs, and therefore not gain any understanding of the realities of earning and saving money Furthermore, the only money that students receive is from their parents and this is typically in the form of pocket-money, which is given with the intent on it being spent Therefore, young people only really learn how to spend money, and not how to earn, save or manage it wisely There are a number of viable solutions to help tackle this problem To begin with, basic money management skills could be included as a compulsory subject for students in their high school years, which would help equip them with the knowledge and skills to manage their own personal finances when they leave school, move out of home and enter employment In addition, parents need to take responsibility to make sure that their children are adequately educated in such matters to ensure their children maintain a successful and independent financial situation after graduating and leaving home In conclusion, although money management is a problem for a lot of school leavers, there are a number of viable solutions to counteract this problem Two-part question essay Some parents buy their children whatever they ask for, and allow their children to whatever they want Is this a good way to bring up children? What consequences could this way of parenting pose on children as they get older?
