schools being shut down in many countries around the world As a result, education has changed dramatically, with a marked increase in popularity in online learning taking place remotely and on digital platforms, whether for convenience, to fit work hours, or simply to have the ability to study from anywhere In contemporary society, online learning is a trend because it helps people to reduce the breakout of Coronavirus by allowing students to study at home The thesis mainly discusses about the impact of online learning on one hundred students in the Faculty of Foreign Language at IUH In order to conduct the research effectively, I applied a quantitative method Questionaires were used to begin the research as well as to get and collect the direct opinions of 100 fourth-year students More importantly, all the data were analyzed by using Microsoft Excel This research explores the common benefits in online learning including keeping students safe during COVID-19, bringing the ability to study at home, reducing financial cost, helping students to develop technology skills In contrast, there are also different challenges in online learning which are faced by many students such as the shortage of face-to-face communication with teachers, teachers' feedback is limited, the fewer interactions with other students Moreover, the study also discovered some recommendations of students for the lecturers to improve the challenges for students in online learning including creating social media groups and online forums, offering tutorials or online demonstrations and personalized support for students before starting online class, creating active activities and providing some mini test during the online learning process Tran Anh Tuan M.A Tran Khanh Nhat ID Number: 17052491 KEYWORDS
