been prepared by subcomm ittee 32C: Miniature fuses, of I EC technical com m ittee 32: Fuses This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 201 This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: a) defining a test board for surface mount fuse-links, Figure 2; b) defining test schedules for homogenous series –4– I EC 601 27-7: 201 © I EC 201 The text of this standard is based on the following documents: CDV Report on votin g 32C/507/CDV 32C/51 3/RVC Full information on the voting for the approval of this standard can be found in the report on voting indicated in the above table This publication has been drafted in accordance with the I SO/I EC Directives, Part A list of all parts in the I EC 601 27 series, published under the general title can be found on the I EC website Miniature fuses , This I nternational Standard is to be used in conjunction with I EC 601 27-1 : 2006, Miniature fuses – Part 1: Definitions for miniature fuses and general requirements for miniature fuselinks and its Amendm ent (201 ) The clauses of this standard supplem ent, m odify or replace the corresponding clauses in IEC 601 27-1 Where there is no corresponding clause or subclause in this standard, the clause or subclause of I EC 601 27-1 applies without m odification as far as is reasonable When this standard states “addition” or “replacement”, the relevant text in I EC 601 27-1 is to be adapted accordingly Subclauses which are additional to those in Part are numbered starting from 01 Additional annexes are numbered AA, BB, etc The committee has decided that the contents of this publication will rem ain unchanged until the stability date indicated on the I EC website under "http: //webstore.iec ch" in the data related to the specific publication At this date, the publication will be • • • • reconfirmed, withdrawn, replaced by a revised edition, or amended A bilingual version of this publication may be issued at a later date I EC 601 27-7: 201 © I EC 201 –5– INTRODUCTION According to the wish expressed by the users of m iniature fuses, all standards, recomm endations and other documents relating to m iniature fuses should have the sam e publication number in order to facilitate reference to fuses in other specifications, for example, equipm ent specifications Furthermore, a single publication num ber and subdivision into parts would facilitate the establishm ent of new standards, because clauses containing general requirements need not be repeated The I EC 601 27 series, under the general heading follows: Miniature fuses , is thus subdivided as IEC 601 27-1 , Miniature fuses – Part 1: Definitions for miniature fuses and general requirements for miniature fuse-links IEC 601 27-2,
