future edition of IEC 60335-2-102, prepared by the IEC Technical Committee 61, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote in December 2003 but did not receive sufficient support Document CLC/TC 61(SEC)1489, containing common modifications prepared by CENELEC/TC 61 WG 3, was discussed during the Milan meeting of CENELEC/TC 61 in November 2004 It was decided to submit a draft for a European Standard to the CENELEC Unique Acceptance Procedure The draft was circulated in July 2005 and was approved by CENELEC as EN 60335-2-102 on 2006-0401 This European Standard supersedes EN 50165:1996 + corrigendum February 1998 + A1:2001 The following dates are applicable: – latest date by which the EN has to be implemented at national level by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2007-04-01 – date on which national standards conflicting with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2009-04-01 This Part has to be used in conjunction with EN 60335-1, Household and
