3021, Aerospace series — Molybdenum disulphide dry lubricants to be applied as a film — Technical specification1) EN 3032, Aerospace series — Test method for dry film lubricants — Thickness measurement A container with a lid, 2/3 filled with distilled water, or any other equivalent equipment to meet the requirements of clause 4 Procedure Degrease the specimens with an appropriate solvent and dry them Apply a dry film lubricant to EN 2491, to the polished surface of each specimen immediately after degreasing Verify to EN 3032 that the thickness meets the requirements of EN 3021 Place the specimens in a humid atmosphere (95 ± 3) % at (23 ± 2) °C for 30 h Expression of results Examine the specimens visually Any discolouration, pits or any other sign of corrosion, indicate that the dry film lubricant has a corrosive effect Test report It shall include the following: — reference to this standard; — film designation to EN 3021; — application method to EN 2491; — curing conditions;
