Alumni Spotlight ANTHONY PELLICCIA ('13) Earned B.A in Psychology from Siena College Currently works as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Siena College Please explain your career – title, daily responsibilities, what you like about your job… I work for Siena College as the Assistant Director of Admissions I work with all of our Long Island students during their College Application and decision process As far as daily responsibilities, I travel to most high schools on Long Island for College Fairs and individual school visits I also interview students interested in Siena and review their application for acceptance into Siena One of the things I like most about my job is that every day is a new adventure; it is not a very repetitive job It's always exciting and being there for the families and developing relationships with them throughout the process is a great little bonus! Who at HT influenced you in a positive way? HT prepared so well for both college and life after graduation There were so many classes and individuals that helped shape into who I am and prepare me for life after Holy Trinity Fr Joe Fitzgerald was the Chaplain at the time and was a huge influence for me during my time at Holy Trinity Along with him were my English teachers such as Mr Chorusey, Mr Lemos, Sr Nora, and Ms Candela They all taught me just different ways to think and look at the world. What is your earliest memory of your “Titan Experience?” One of the earliest memories for me has got to be the freshman football team We were not the best team in the league by any means, but we had a blast and it was an incredible way to come into high school, already knowing a group of people It made the transition much easier It was also nice considering my older sister was a senior my freshman year, so walking onto campus that first day was pretty cool I was really excited for a new adventure and the next chapter when I first started my time at Holy Trinity Have you stayed connected to your Titan classmates? How often you return to campus? Yes! I still stay in contact with some of my Titan classmates I was lucky enough to actually attend Siena with a number of Titans, so we had that Titan family with us at our new campus I have the pleasure of getting to Holy Trinity a few times a year For work, I get to go back to visit for college fairs 2-3 times per year My youngest sister just began her freshman year at Holy Trinity and is on the cheer team, so I will definitely make my way back for different events Do you think your life would have turned out differently if you had not attended Holy Trinity? 100% - my life would definitely be different had I not attended Holy Trinity Holy Trinity really helped me become who I am It helped me push out of my comfort zone a bit and understand the importance of getting involved in a high school and college community I would not have made some of the friends I made or had the great experiences I did - such as joining the LIGHTs program, winning Spirit Night, or getting to play baseball, football, or volleyball in high school I truly think that I got an experience like no other at Holy Trinity What advice you have for current Titans? My advice for current Titans would be to take advantage of everything Holy Trinity has to offer; it's a waste not to get involved You will make amazing memories and friendships along the way You are only at Holy Trinity for four years, but you are a Titan forever Want to be an Alumni Spotlight?
