Temple University George Washington Carver Science Fair Academic Tuition Scholarship Program 2019 – 2023 Temple University awards two scholarships to George Washington Carver Science Fair winners from 11th Grade These winners must graduate from high school in the top 25 percent of their class with a 3.0 GPA or better and their SAT Critical Reading and Math Scores are 1000 or higher The scholarships are for $3,000 and renewable for a total of four years, contingent on students maintaining a 3.0 cumulative GPA in full time study During 2018, First and Second Place 11th Grade Winners in the George Washington Carver Science Fair are eligible to apply Two qualified students will be selected to enter Temple University – September, 2019 PROCEDURE Must fill-out Temple University application 2019 Must meet Temple University requirements A “Letter of Request” must be written in order to be accepted into the Temple University / George Washington Carver Science Fair “Tuition Scholarship Program” The letter must be sent to: Thomas Anderson, Jr., Director / Chairperson George Washington Carver Science Fair 1700 North Broad Street Suite 316-A Philadelphia, PA 19122 Phone: 215-204-4673 Email: www.thomas.anderson@temple.edu ALL ELIGIBLE STUDENTS will be interviewed by the Temple University / George Washington Carver Science Fair Admissions Committee
