2019 Sparkleberry Country Fair $1,000 College Scholarship Application Criteria for Applicants (please review carefully)  Must be a Richland School District Two high school senior with at least a 3.0 GPA  Must include a detailed and thoughtful essay about your need for this scholarship *Heavy emphasis is placed on your essay.*  Must be planning to attend a South Carolina college or university  Must return completed application with at least a wallet-sized photo no later than Friday, Feb 15, 2019, to your Guidance Department with a request for your official transcript copy and SAT/ACT scores to be attached Your application, photo & transcript (along with the others from your school) will be sent by your Guidance Department to the Richland Two District Office at R2i2, Attn: Shelley Kriegshaber Personal Information: Name and e-mail: _ _ Address (include zip): _ Phone Number: _ Parents/Guardian: _ Activities and Honors: Verify your participation in each listed service or honor with the signature of a person in authority beside each entry A Attach the (typed or neatly printed) list of your major community service activities (including dates, hours and responsibilities of each activity) on a separate sheet of paper to the application B Attach the (typed or neatly printed) list of your major school and or community honors on a separate sheet of paper to the application Statement of need: Attach the (typed or neatly printed) essay of no more than pages to the application 4 The South Carolina college/university you plan to attend: _ Student Deadline: p.m., Friday, February 15, 2019 Completed application with photo must be submitted to your high school guidance counselor with request for an official transcript copy and SAT/ACT scores The Sparkleberry Country Fair Scholarship Committee will select scholarship winners from our high schools, after evaluation of these applications and transcript copies Guidance Department Deadline: p.m., Friday, February 22, 2019 Applications, photos, SAT/ACT scores and transcripts for all students need to be sent through district mail to the Richland Two District Office, Attn: Shelley Kriegshaber Award Ceremony & Reception: p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2019 Richland Two Institute of Innovation – 763 Fashion Drive (across from Belk) The winning students are encouraged to make every effort to attend the award ceremony hosted by the Sparkleberry Country Fair Committee Parents/guardians, guidance counselors, college and career facilitators, principals and teachers are also most cordially invited
