University of Washington Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Overview • • • • Established in 1996, the University of Washington Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship is an ACGME accredited program which provides comprehensive training and experience in sports medicine Our program is sponsored by the UW Department of Family Medicine and Seattle Children’s Hospital We accept candidates with training in family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics through tracks (FM/IM and Pediatric) The University of Washington is situated in the beautiful city of Seattle, a veritable mecca for those who enjoy the beautiful outdoors & city life Program Strengths • 12 core faculty members with CAQ’s in sports medicine • A world class academic medical center • Top-ranked Family Medicine and Pediatrics Departments • Top-tier NCAA Division I athletics program and numerous professional sports clubs • Multiple sports medicine leaders as faculty • Training in advance MSK procedures and diagnostic techniques!!!
