THE APPLICATION OF THE GREEN ECONOMY MODEL INTO PHU QUOC ISLAND, KIEN GIANG PROVINCE ÁP DỤNG MƠ HÌNH KINH TẾ XANH VÀO HUYỆN ĐẢO PHÚ QUỐC, TỈNH KIÊN GIANG Th.S Vũ Thị Bắc – Đại Học Quốc Gia TP.HCM  Abstract According to The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP, Green Economy is defined as the economy which improvies people's lives and improve social equity, while significantly reducing environmental risks and ecological deficiency Vietnam is also one of the countries applying economic models to the economy Phu Quoc island, also known as Pearl Island is the largest island in Vietnam's coastal islands How to maintain economic development while preventing environmental issues is not only the island of Phu Quoc but also other islands Within the scope the concern of this article, I'm going into basic research theory (concepts, characteristics, roles ) and the application of the proposed model to Phu Quoc island - mainly in the service sectors - tourism On that basis, this paper aims to offer solutions to accelerate the development of Phu Quoc Special Administrative Economy Region in 2020  Tóm tắt Theo Chương trình Mơi trường Liên hợp quốc (UNEP), Kinh tế Xanh hiểu kinh tế nâng cao đời sống người cải thiện công xã hội, đồng thời giảm đáng kể rủi ro môi trường thiếu hụt sinh thái Việt Nam quốc gia áp dụng mơ hình kinh tế xanh vào kinh tế Đảo Phú Quốc, mệnh danh Đảo Ngọc, đảo lớn đảo ven bờ Việt Nam Làm để phát triển kinh tế đảm bảo môi trường vấn đề mà huyện đảo Phú Quốc huyện đảo ven bờ Việt Nam quan tâm Trong khuôn khổ viết này, xin sâu vào nghiên cứu sở lí luận (khái niệm, đặc điểm, vai trò…) đến việc đề xuất áp dụng mơ hình kinh tế xanh vào Phú Quốc chủ yếu ngành dịch vụ - du lịch Trên sở đưa giải pháp để đẩy nhanh trình phát triển Phú Quốc thành đặc khu hành kinh tế vào năm 2020
