AFS BBTS Career Exploration Site Visit and Tour Clemson University and Greenville Technical College Friday, November 9, 2018 Dear AFS BBTS Parents: We are pleased to offer our high school students an exciting field trip as we travel to the Upstate of SC to Clemson University and Greenville Technical College on Friday, November 9, 2018. The itinerary includes group tours of both campuses and presentations from the Admission Offices for both schools Students will learn about the variety of career strands identified during the presentation The students will also have a Lunch and Learn session with a Civil Engineer who directed the construction of the new student center, and is a Clemson graduate Students will be provided breakfast, lunch and snacks for the trip Though all costs of the trip are underwritten by the Successful Transition grant, students may bring additional money, if they would like to purchase snacks or souvenirs Students will be responsible for securing any additional money they bring Students are also required to wear their AFS uniforms, which include AFS Tee Shirts or collared solid color shirts, khaki bottoms, belts and closed toe shoes Students may wear jackets with no insignia The trip Itinerary is included below We expect the best behavior from all of our students, both before and during the field trip As per school policy and the program guidelines, students may be removed or become ineligible for participation in future activities for discipline infractions of Categories 3 - I offenses that occur from October 22 - November 8, 2018.
