TRANSFER ARTICULATION AGREEMENT Belmont College, Associate of Applied Science, Criminal Justice to University of Cincinnati, College of Education, Criminal Justice, & Human Services, Bachelor of Science, Criminal Justice Originating Institution: Belmont College Degree/Program: Associate of Applied Science / Criminal Justice Target Institution: University of Cincinnati / College of Education, Criminal Justice, & Human Services Degree/Program: Bachelor of Science / Criminal Justice Introduction: This agreement details the applicability of courses from the Belmont College AAS Criminal Justice to the BS Criminal Justice in the College of Education, Criminal Justice, & Human Services Students who complete the AAS Criminal Justice at Belmont College have partially satisfied the UC General Education requirement Articulation Overview: Graduates from Belmont College who have followed the prescribed program and are accepted into the College of Education, Criminal Justice, & Human Services will enter with 60 hours of transfer credit applicable toward the BS Criminal Justice degree Admission Criteria: *Note: completing the courses on the addendums below does not guarantee admission to the BS Criminal Justice program Minimum GPA: 2.00 BS Completion: Completion of this program may require more than four semesters to complete due to prerequisite requirements and the order in which required courses must be taken and are offered UC academic advising staff will work with each transfer student to develop the most expedient pathway to graduation Admission Period: Belmont College students must be admitted to the UC College of Education, Criminal Justice, & Human Services during the duration of this agreement (i.e between April 2021 and April 2024) Agreement Execution Date: April 2021 Agreement End Date: April 2024 EXECUTION, DURATION AND REVIEW OF AGREEMENT: This agreement becomes effective upon its signing by the Deans of both Colleges and will remain effective for three years At the end of this time, the agreement will be reviewed and may be renegotiated Belmont College and the UC College of Education, Criminal Justice, & Human Services agree to keep one another informed as program changes affecting the agreement occur The Deans of both Colleges will agree upon any future additions and/or amendments to this document in writing This agreement will be reviewed on an annual basis and is subject to change due to revisions in program curriculum As strong partners, Belmont College Criminal Justice program agrees to provide direct access to students in the last semester of their degree program to a University of Cincinnati representative This could be in the form of a classroom visit or other opportunities to directly interact and educate students about the program at the University of Cincinnati Belmont College Criminal Justice program also agrees to provide a graduation list with email addresses The University of Cincinnati College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services will provide success rates of incoming cohorts of Belmont College Criminal Justice program students upon request Belmont College students are encouraged
