The Search for Peace in Times of Chaos—Volume Churches, which has held four meetings: Chambesy, Geneva (December 1985), Anba Bishoy monastery, Egypt ( June 1989), Chambesy II (September 1990), and Chambesy III (November 1993) Ignorance of the remarkable advance toward the reunion of the two families is still widespread, and it is a sad reflection on the lack of understanding that some journals, commenting on the recent reception of the Church by the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate, are still impugning the orthodoxy of the churches with accusations of the Monophysite heresy “The outcome of this latter meeting was of historical dimensions, since in this meeting the two families of Orthodoxy were able to agree on an Christological formula, thus ending the controversy regarding Christology which has lasted for more than fifteen centuries.”20 ~ 17 ~
