Ethical Computer Hacking The Fundamentals of Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking This course introduces students to penetration testing, helping them gain a valuable skill set in penetration testing by understanding the importance of vulnerability assessments and ethical hacking The course provides in-depth labs that focus on both open source and commercial based tools with industry best practices These hands on labs emulate real world hacking scenarios and equip the candidate to assess a company’s security posture, help implement controls to better secure a company’s network infrastructure and how to combat against hackers and/or viruses Certification is awarded after completion of the course and a multiple-choice exam delivered online through a standard web browser (minimum score of 70%) This course is offered through the Wayne State University College of Engineering, Department of Computer Science For more information, email cybersec@wayne.edu Who Should Attend?
