Virtual Reality STEM Afterschool Coding Program VR Orlando Rentals specializes in high end virtual reality thrilling simulators, interactive games, and educational learning experiences At VR Orlando, we believe that your child is the future of expanding this new and innovative technology Your child can join VR Orlando’s STEM afterschool program at Bay Lake Elementary School where we will provide next generation learning opportunities to grow your child’s creativity and imagination VR Orlando Rentals will teach your child the fundamentals of virtual reality coding once a week from January thru May through several courses Virtual Reality Coding Course Description: Our innovative afterschool STEM program will bring out your child’s creativity through programming activities Children, grades thru will learn the basics of computer coding with an integration of virtual reality Through creative learning, your child will develop their very own virtual reality video presentation We will introduce new concepts and tools weekly to maintain interest and expand your child’s imagination At the end of each session, your child will present their knowledge of programming and coding to create a virtual reality episode scene that will lead to future programming creations Time: 3:15pm – 4:15pm Dates: Classes are every Tuesday beginning 01/08/19 Registration fee $25 Price: $125 To register for our classes go to www.vrorlandorentals.com, and go to our “Student Registration” page This page is password protected, so you will need to type “SCHOOLS” for access Questions call us at (407) 801-0886 Sign up now! C1: 1/8-1/29, C2: 2/5-2/26, C3: 3/5-3/26, C4: 4/2-4/23, C5: 4/30-5/21 CLASS - VIRTUAL ME As an introductory activity, students create a Virtual Reality presentation space where they will share a little about themselves They will introduce themselves through personal virtual spaces representing who they are and what they like CLASS - CITY LIFE Students will code objects to bring a “City Scene” to life They will add characters and objects to the city and use code to add movements CLASS - BRINGING A STORY TO LIFE Students will continue to practice the fundamentals and learn more advance coding while incorporating literature Students will listen to a story Then they will practice retelling the events of the story by creating sequence scenes and bringing them to life Once the story is complete, they will be able to view in Virtual Reality CLASS - MY VIRTUAL ZOO Students will create a virtual zoo Each student will create their own virtual exhibition for an animal they research First, students will pick an animal to research Once the research is complete they will create a virtual space where they will display the animal and interesting facts about it When all projects are complete, they will take a virtual tour of each other’s spaces CLASS - DREAM HOME Students will learn the basic principles of construction and architecture while learning special awareness They will create and model through the construction of a virtual house Then they will have fun decorating the interior Payment Packages Tuition is per Class If you choose to participate in our bundled course packages, the payments will be as follows: • Classes are offered monthly for $125 Register for or more months and SAVE $25 per month
