Application Note University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign– M.S in Technology and Management I PROGRAM DESCRIPTION  Cultivating Mastery and Confidence The one-year MS in Technology Management is an intense and wholly immersive experience Here, you will learn how to think critically about competitive strategy and how to effectively execute it within a rapidly-changing technological environment Our program has a unique energy and place within a vibrant campus community Through innovative, team-based learning activities and engaging classroom instruction you will investigate the Frontiers of Technology, gain invaluable experience in multicultural collaboration and grow in understanding the responsibilities of leadership in quality organizations You can customize your program by choosing an optional concentration in Supply Chain Management, Business Data Analytics, or Information Technology and Control Whether you are an engineer seeking management acumen, or a business professional in need of more analytical training, the MSTM’s ability to act as a bridge between the two cohorts is its hallmark  Concentrations and Minors  Information Technology and Control  Supply Chain Management  Business Data Analytics The concentration in Business Data Analytics is designed to develop leaders in various business fields who understand (1) how to leverage data to identify new customer segments and market; (2) how to optimize the supply chain and logistics, and (3) how to collect, manipulate and visualize data for business decisions The concentration will develop skills using data as a foundation for sound decision making in business  Is this a STEM program?
