Report Second-Year MSW Students Form 808         The Mid-Year Progress Report addresses the student’s learning goals and is organized around the nine Council on Social Work Education’s Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards The completion of the Progress Report should be a collaborative effort between the field instructor and the student If there is a task supervisor, this staff member should also contribute to the process This report should assess the student’s competencies for the first semester at the internship If there is an area in which the field instructor has not yet had the opportunity to assess the student’s performance, please use the UA (Unable to Assess) category The student should conduct a self-assessment of progress made towards the goals listed in the Mid-Year Progress Report as well as those specified in the Learning Agreement completed earlier in the semester Based on an assessment of the learning experiences and progress made towards goals during the first semester, the student and field instructor should list any upcoming learning goals When the report has been completed, the student and the field instructor should together review and sign the form The student should then submit an original copy to the School of Social Work field liaison who will subsequently enter a grade for the internship Performance Expectations According to the Student's Academic Year Second-Year MSW students are expected to demonstrate increasing levels of sophistication, creativity, professionalism, and autonomy in their use of self and their
