simultaneously realize “High productivity” and “Stable quality.” The shift from traditional 1-conveyor specifications to 3-conveyor specifications (size M) offers you a substantial reduction in time required to exchange PCBs In addition, the installation of the hybrid squeegee head helps reduce the printing time, and ensure stable solder rolling action, thus enhancing printing quality ■ Improvement of printing quality & productivity ・ Hybrid squeegee head For the purpose of preventing air from being entrapped, the vertical motion of the squeegee is motor-controlled, which helps achieve high quality printing and a reduction in the printing time Besides that, the printing pressure monitor function allows you to check the printing pressure being applied during printing ・ Perforated pot-type solder paste auto feeding unit (option) The line sensor, designed to detect the volume of solder paste remaining, helps stabilize the volume level of solder paste on the mask In an attempt to stabilize the volume level of solder paste to be additionally input, solder feeding is automated so that unevenness in printing quality among operators can be minimized ・ High-speed mask cleaning The introduction of a new cleaning system helps reduce the consumption of paper And a reduction in time losses was achieved through parallel processing - by simultaneously carrying out two tasks, namely PCB transport and cleaning operation Additionally, the vacuum cleaning performance has improved to a considerable degree (Motor suction specifications) ・ 3-conveyor specifications The adoption of 3-conveyor specifications helps reduce the PCB exchange time, thus realizing high productivity (Intended PCB size: L350 mm or less) Changeover navigation ・ The changeover can be performed through a series of operations Thus, the preparations can be made easily in a short time ■ Improvement of operability ・ Concentration of operations on the front side of the machine A whole series of operations, such as replacement of cleaning paper and provision of cleaning solvent, can be performed at the front of the machine, which helps improve the operator’s work efficiency ■ Environmental consideration ・ Reduction in the consumption of papaer The consumption of cleaning paper has been reduced to approximately mm per time Features Improving printing quality & productivity Hybrid squeegee head The squeegee height is mortor-controlled Controlling the solder movement associated with the vertical motion of the squeegee helps prevent air from being entrapped and achieves stable solder filling The printing time is also reduced through the control of vertical strokes of the squeegee Squeegee height: Motor control Printing pressure: Air cylinder control -1- SPG 2017.0626 Printing pressure monitor function Load detection unit The load detection unit is newly mounted onto the squeegee head It monitors the printing pressure during printing and if the pressure becomes out of set range, the warning alarms Perforated pot-type solder paste auto feeding unit (Option) Install the solder pot directly to supply solder paste Keeping the solder mount on the mask constant, it enables continuous production over a long period Moving sideways (X-direction) and feeding solder reduces poor print quality due to inconsistencies in solder density Solder can be supplied automatically from the initial loading prior to production (X-axis drive range: 450 mm) Solder pot X-axis drive High-speed mask cleaning A new cleaning system helps reduce the consumption of paper And a reduction in time losses was achieved through parallel processing - by simultaneously carrying out two tasks, namely PCB transport and cleaning operation In addition, the vacuum cleaning performance has improved to a considerable degree (Motor suction specifications) Multilevel mask-release control PCB end face support function (Option) Multilevel pattern (Manual creation) Descent speed Panasonic’s printing processes, which are acquired through bump/circuit formation printing, are inherited to be applied to the SMT printing Minute setting of mask-release speed and strokes makes it possible to control printing shape In addition to multi-level speed control which can edit arbitrarily the mask-release performance, you can also select high-speed multi mask-release control (Mask-release pattern automatic creation) developed by the bump printing, which has a higher degree of printing difficulty, or the existing constant-velocity mask-release control High-speed multi (Automatic creation) Descent stroke Support plate Support PCBs securely end to end regardless of the type of support such as the pin or the block Thus, it improves printing stability and is ready for high-density mounting -2- SPG 2017.0626 Mask height detection (Option) Adhesion between PCBs and masks is controlled optimally Stable printing state is realized by detecting clearance between PCBs and masks and by always keeping optimal adhesion Laser unit PCB Mask Adhered Correction Correction Solder Inspection Function Pro (Option) It inspects solder related defects such as misalignment, bridging, blur and oozing with the PCB recognition camera (The data is created using NPM-DGS) * SPG has “Solder Inspection Function Light” as standard equipment Please refer to “5.1 Solder Inspection Functions” for details Positioning repeatability Cpk ±5.0 μm 6σ Positioning accuracy after recognition of the same PCB Above positioning accuracy is the same as below ±5.0 μm ±3σ (or ±2.5 μm ±1.5σ) 3-conveyor specifications Through the adoption of 3-conveyor specificaitons, the PCB exchange time (including the time required for PCB recognition) has been reduced Cycle time = PCB exchange time + Printing time (+ Cleaning time/Intervals) PCB size PCB exchange time L 510 × W 460 mm 8.5 s L 350 × W 300 mm 6.5 s (recognition time included) * Depending on printing conditions (whether or not the PCB pressing-down unit is used, whether or not the PCB is sucked, the mask plate-making reference and so on), PCB exchange time may be different form the one in the above table The PCB stopper is always used (PCB exchange time = Changing time of PCB setting + Printing table traveling time + PCB recognition time) * Regarding calculation of cycle time, please refer to “4-3 Cycle Time” * You can choose transport speed from five levels depending on PCBs -3- SPG 2017.0626 Efficient Changeover Changeover mode SPG has a dedicated mode that allows you to perform a series of changeover steps in order Performing the steps in order of menu ensures reliable changeover Automatic changeover This supports changeovers (production data change and rail width change), minimizing the time loss of operation caused by product changes -4- SPG 2017.0626 12 Electric/Pneumatic 12.1 Electric Source Unit 2 The electric source should be connected with three-conductor cable of 3.5 mm to 5.5 mm by using exclusive tool The cable should be clamped in five points as the lower-left figure shows Outside diameter dimensions of the cable: φ13.5 mm ~ φ18.0 mm Be sure to secure the cable with the cable clamps
