PART 1 1. Talk about career What is your job? I’m a senior. I’m studying at BANKING UNIVERSITY OF HCM CITY which is located AT 56 HOÀNG DIỆU street, district THU DUC , HCM city. I’m working as a doctor an accountant a pharmacist at a hospital which is located on Su Van Hanh street, district 10, HCM city. How long have you been working there? I have been studying there for 4 years. I’m going to graduate the next time . I have been working there for 18 years because it is a good working environment. Why do you like your job? I like my major because it’s useful for my future job. I like my job because it is suitable for my ability, and it’s a satisfying job. 2. Talk about hometown Where do you come from? come from Nha Trang. It’s a seaside city. I come from HCM City. It’s the biggest and crowdest city in VN I come from Đồng Nai. It’s 40 kilometers far from HCM city. Do you like living in your hometown? I like living in Nha Trang Đồng Nai because it’s a nice city with many beautiful sites as … I like living in HCMC because it is the center of culture, education and trade. What is it famous for? Nha Trang is famous for beautiful beaches and fresh and delicious seafood. It attracts a lot of tourists every year. HCMC Đồng Nai is famous for its delicacies. You can enjoy many kinds of delicious dishes with reasonable price. 3. Talk about leisure activities What do you like doing in your free time? I like shopping and playing games online in my free time. I like watching tele vision and listening to music in my free time. Why do you like doing it? Shopping and playing games are good ways for me to relax. Watching television and listening to music are good ways for me to relax. How much time do you spend doing that? I often spend three hours playing games in my free time or on the weekends I often spend two hours watching television or listening to music in my free on the weekend.

We often buy it or display it in our house on Tet holidays - Is this flower popular in your country? Can we plant it? It is very popular in my country, and it symbolizes for the flower of the South of Vietnam We can plant it easily in the garden or in a big pot 70 Talk about communication with others - What is your favorite way of communication with others? My favorite way of communication is face to face because facial expression is very important in showing your emotion - Do you prefer sending text message or talking on the phone to your friends? Why? I prefer sending a text message because I don’t want to bother the listeners while they are in class or in a meeting or when they are asleep - What are the benefits of face to face communication? I think face to face communication gives us the real feelings, emotion, and it helps us understand the other better 71 Talk about relationship with your parents - Who are you closer to? Your mother or father? Why? In my family, I am closer to my mother because she is an understanding mom She always gives me immediate support - What you like to when you are together? My mom and I often spend weekend cooking together I love to help her cook She is a creative cook, so I can learn many of her new dishes - Do you want to live with your parents when you get married? I want to live with my parents when I get married They are old, and weak, so I need to be with them to take care of them better 72 Talk about online shopping - Do you often shop online? I often shop online when there is a big sale I find shopping online is interesting because I sometimes have a real bargain - What kinds of products are often sold online? Nowadays people can buy everything online You can find anything you need such as cosmetics, house hold products, foods, drinks and so on… on Shopee, Lazada, or Tiki - What are the benefits of online shopping?
