law of the sea is the couthathich not only provides students with the basic knowledge about the boundaries and legal status of maritime spaces but also provides students in-depth legal knowledge related to exploiting and using sthe ea These are issues such as joint fishing cooperation, delimitation of sea between countries with opposite or adjacent coasts, protection of the marine environment Through this course, students will also grasp the mechanism of solving dispute settlement by the provisions of The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea 1982 and the practice of resolving maritime disputes between Vietnam and other countries in the region The course consists of main groups of issues: General theoretical issues on the international law of the sea; Baseline in international law of the sea; Maritimes space international law of the sea; Delimitation in international law of the sea; Joint exploitation in international law of the sea; Protection of the marine on time as prescribed 25 11 METHODS OF ASSESSMENT 11.1 Frequent assessment - Attendance: Students participate in 75% or more of the prescribed hours for each theory or seminar part - Participation; - Proof of attending seminars and group work 11.2 Periodical assessment Written exam format Assessing knowledge and attitudes to participate in seminar Grading proportion 10% Group-Work 30% Final exam 60% 11.3 Criteria for assessment  Assessing knowledge and attitudes to participate in seminar - Assessing knowledge: Self-study and understand the lesson (1-7 mark) - Attitudes to participate in seminar: Not active / Active positive (1-3 mark) - Total: 10 mark  General requirements for exercises Exercises are drafted and printed on A4 size paper The length depends on the requirements of each type of Exercise Format: Top margin: 3.0cm; bottom margin: 3.0cm; left margin: 3.0cm; right margin: 2.0cm; font: Times New Roman; font size: 14; Line spacing mode: 1.5 lines Exercises must not exceed the specified length The excess will not be graded and scored  Group-Work - Form: Essay, no more than pages on A4-size paper Times New Roman; size: 14, 1.5 line spaced on one side only of A4 paper;
