During the early phases of the pandemic, the covid19 virus had a significant impact on many aspects of peoples daily lives, especially education. In such circumstances, online education is the only way for people to overcome the crisis. However, this is not a novel manner; it has been utilized for many years in nations all over the world. Although teaching by traditional methods has not been completely replaced, it can be said that people seem to prefer online education much more in the Covid19 period. Founded in 2016, PANTADO is regarded as one of the pioneers who recognized the potential that online education can provide to learners. Being studentcentered and fundamental to the learning process has proven that Pantados mission and vision are truly meaningful to individual students and the country as a whole. As a finalyear student majoring in Business English at Thương Mai University, I am grateful for the opportunity to work as an intern at the PANTADO companys Training Department. During my internship here, I got the opportunity to get the most out I learned at university and compile my internship report. Furthermore, the strengths and weaknesses of my internship will help me identify the career path.

and advance communication skill and prepare for an exam With online class model, the learners will obtain a plenty of knowledge and the goals they set rapidly  English for Kindergarten ( ~ years old )  English for primary school students ( - 11 years old )  English for junior high school students ( 11 - 15 years old )  English for middle school students high school ( 15 - 17 years old ) In addition, other English language training programs are available based on the needs of the participants, using foreign standard materials and well-trained educators  Communication course  Cambridge three duties, which are shared among three teams including management, training, and R&D  Management Team: oversees all employees and team operations, and motivates, supports, and facilitates their development and accomplishment of given duties Furthermore, this position must evaluate and measure the performance of the remaining teams on a constant basis, and handle comments from instructors, students, and other departments as well  Training Team:  Class arrangement team: gathers and distributes student information with the goal of arranging instructors for each class in a reasonable and high-quality manner  Teacher team: being a Pantado teacher by passing through rigorous procedures of demanding recruitment  Tester team: put forward and construct tests to assist the organization in assessing the capacity of teachers to recruit into the company and learners prior to registering new classes  R&D Team: exploring materials and delivering excellent lessons suited for each student's English level; take feedback from instructors and teaching assistants on faults in lectures 10 CHAPTER – THE INTERNSHIP AT PANTADO SJC 2.1 The tasks in the internship process Working as an online English teaching assistant for four weeks (from December 27, 2021, to January 21, 2022) equips me with an excellent attempt to utilize my major knowledge and abilities effectively Ms Thanh Mai, who is a member of Pantado's training staff, is my direct guide With the enthusiastic aid of Ms Mai and other department colleagues, I completed a successful internship in accordance with the company's work schedule The following are full-time intern job tables I completed in one month, from a.m to 10 p.m per day in the internship 2.1.1.Week 1: From 27th December 2021 to 2th January 2022 Date Monday (27/12/2021) Tuesday Task performed - Register for the internship organization - Hand in the letter of recommendation and apply for the internship position at PANTADO JSC - Receive the email of the interview invitation (28/12/2021) - Successful interview for that position and prepare to train Wednesday Meet my supervisor, Ms Mai, and make friends with everyone in (29/12/2021) the Training Department Thursday - Seeking more information about departments and the organization - Getting used to and adapting to the professional environment, (30/12/2021) obligations, and responsibilities at the working office - Participate in the supervisor’s entry training course with some Friday (31/12/2021) colleagues - Do the test after the lesson about the training and English level instead of writing the report for the instructor Table 2: Internship Diary Week 11 After week 1, I had gotten to know everyone and learned basically about the organization as well as the internship departments Internship Diary Week The information and experiences of the second internship week brought plenty of meaningful achievements to me, not only about the internship report in particular but also about myself in general As a result, I was able to accomplish Chapter of the internship report and collect basic acknowledgment for the report's chapters and 12 2.1.3 Week 3: From 10th January 2022 to 14th January 2022 Date Monday (10/1/2022) Task performed - Take a trial teaching class with Teacher Eric and another English teaching assistant - Summarize the notes needed to - Be assigned to two classes: PK2112002 and PK2112028 for Tuesday (11/1/2022) internship time - Discover how to utilize classroom management software - Have access to materials used in two clases and zalo groups to support effectively - Teaching the class PK2112002 with teacher Eric - Before class: check the lecture's content, and prepare warm-up Wednesday games (12/1/2022) - During a class: Assist learners with translating the teacher's information - After class: send reminders to class members in zalo group - Teaching the class PK2112028 with teacher Eric - Before class: check the lecture's content, and prepare warm-up Thursday (13/1/2022) games - During a class: Assist learners with translating the teacher's information - After class: send reminders to class members in zalo group - Convey teacher' thoughts and comments to learners Friday (14/1/2022) - Translate the academic evaluation papers for each student’s parent - Exchange information and fill out the assessment form Table 4: Internship Diary Week During the third internship week, besides fulfilling internship training requirements, I had the chance to work directly with students and foreign teachers It was a whole new experience for me 13 - My responsibility before the lesson's commencement is to draft lesson plans In addition, I must remind my students via the zalo group on a frequent basis to make sure they have completed their assignments before coming to class For students with less knowledge, I will support them in the homework process - The duties in the classroom are really challenging for me I am not only the manager of class and the one who creates an engaging environment for students, but I also play a critical bridge between the main teachers and their students on translation or interpretation The sharing of teaching assistants can sometimes help the lead teacher grasp the situation that they are encountering - I am not always required to translate teacher evaluations of learners after class These assessments are done at regular intervals to let parents understand their child's academic progress Encouragement of self-study students is the key element for developing English knowledge 2.1.4 Week a lot from teachers, staff, leaders, and students as well 14 2.2 The difficulties and lessons in the internship process 2.2.1 The difficulties An internship is a process of cultivating yourself and skills in preparation for future work opportunities I made the most of the knowledge that I have acquired at university to achieve the desired results Nonetheless, I still encountered a lot of challenges and drawbacks in the process Here are several of the problems I faced:  Psychological obstacles and communication skills People frequently believe that students specializing in languages will be excellent communicators That, however, is not the reality I used to be quite hesitant about communicating and didn't know how to speak to foreigners With an apprehensive and fearful mindset, I am reluctant to express myself and I also lack the confidence to make mistakes in order to enhance my language abilities It took me a long time to figure out how to talk in English That is why I never question my foreign lecturers or mentors Everyone is busy, therefore I should it all alone so as not to bother them Yet, after understanding the company's welcoming and open working atmosphere, I did not hesitate to raise my voice  Lack of knowledge about online learning platforms When the pandemic broke out, the Thuong Mai University used online learning via Zoom for students As a participant, at that time, I didn't have much knowledge about it During my internship, I realized that I could not comprehend all the functions in the software Therefore, some problems took place when I handled classes for students and foreign teachers  Limited adaptability to the environment I also had a basic understanding of the company's culture and working environment at university Obviously, theory always has a certain distance from reality Thereby, the knowledge I have gained is just a drop of seawater in the ocean Meanwhile, Pantado JSC is a professional environment with strict policies and rules 15 In addition, the online internship during the epidemic season is also a limiting factor for adaptation In other words, when working through the zoom software, I cannot fully access the physical and cultural environment of the company That is my regret during my internship here  Translation and Interpretation process These are considered two specialized subjects in the English Faculty Academic language and formal communication language in the company sometimes generate significant barriers between colleagues My environment requires contact and proximity with related staff It took some time and exposure for me to be able to utilize the language that native speakers frequently employ In the process of translating and interpreting, Vietnamese-English translation is always a concern of many people, including me Vietnamese is a difficult language to express, so be careful when translating into English There were a couple of times when I made the mistake of translating to the main teacher what the students wanted in the classroom This caused a bit of confusion 2.2.2 The lessons The experiences I obtained during my internship at Pantado's training department were extremely beneficial in evaluating myself, setting goals to strengthen my abilities, and determining future growth plans The lessons I received, although they were short-lived, will follow me for the rest of my life  Always renew yourself I am constantly holed up in a secure circle, where I may thrive at what I think effortless I don't know how to accomplish new things, such as communicating and adapting to new environments Internship is the time when I mustered up my courage to step out of that circle I can interact with new employees in the company, with foreign teachers and improve my communication skills This is a lesson that has probably completely changed my mind 16  Attitude and soft skills go hand in hand With the unique online environment, it is difficult for me to the task in the most efficient manner That will not be a challenge if you have a suitable and friendly attitude, are consistently willing to learn new things from others, and have a high sense of responsibility at work  Continuous technological advancement updates People have always found modern technology to be a valuable resource Humans have to make full use of it to its maximum potential for self-improvement and development at all times Through my internship experience with Zoom software, I learned that it is always my future luggage in the future  Upgrade your teaching and second language skills Prior to taking on this position, I worked as an English tutor for pupils ages to I believe that each age will increase my pedagogical abilities to be flexible and suited for every age level Always strive to develop your language skills on a daily basis The more quickly the world transforms, the more frequent language translation becomes In reality, numerous new concepts have emerged and expanded To sum up, this internship has equipped me with a wealth of experience and lessons I have improved my knowledge of English in general and specialized English in particular 17 CHAPTER – THE REALITY OF USING ENGLISH AT PANTADO JSC 3.1 The usage of English at workplace 3.1.1 The current situation Pantado is an educational institution founded to enable students to develop their English skills To match that realistic requirement, the organization mainly operates and recruits domestic students Consequently, there are not 100% of employees can use English English can be used by training team, tester team, IT team, R&D team, etc Teaching assistants and R&D staff, in particular, are expected to utilize English fluently when teaching and working To become the main teacher, teaching assistant, or Vietnamese teacher, must have certificates that meet the standards of the firm (such as CELTA, TESOL, IELTS, TOEIC, etc.) In addition, staff speaking English (except for Training Department) pronounce and utilize words and vocabularies that are not appropriate for the context They often transcribe English sounds into Vietnamese sounds, which is easier for them to remember That is incorrect method in the process of learning and employing the foreign language Furthermore, activities regarding the higher English level such as reading and writing are considered great challenges for them Specialized vocabulary in English contracts, documents, reports of other departments make the translation staff in training department reluctant 3.1.2 The reasons The usage of English at Pantado JSC brings plenty of benefits and drawbacks for all working units During my internship, I carefully researched that company's activities and found the source of using English at Pantado JSC The organization focuses on domestic operations and professionalized function As I previously stated, all learners at the workplace are Vietnamese who want to strengthen and enhance their English skills Therefore, it is reasonable for staff to comprehend demand of customers (mainly parents) if they are also Vietnamese That is the reason why there are some fixed teams speaking English 18 The quality of main teachers cannot be guaranteed In the early years of its establishment, Pantado’s teacher recruitment policies were quite unprofessional, which has a significant impact on proficiency in English Moreover, recruited employees in 2016 in some departments did not have specialized English certificates They also have to attend basic English classes By virtue of their age, their learning procedure is fairly tricky In recent years, the leading management of Pantado have more obligations and policies to encourage the English quality of staff However, they are all on papers Activities have not been organized in a regular and methodical manner 3.2 Suggested solutions As an intern at the firm, I have a basic understanding of the organization's present status Outstanding difficulties in this business must be addressed immediately and efficiently To that end, I boldly recommend several solutions to increase the company's capacity to utilize English  In terms of employees It is vital to create awareness of the English value in the corporate environment That is the motivation for approaching, developing, and integrating the core of human civilization More to the point, employees need to always have a positive and marketable attitude when participating in activities organized by the company For each individual, the process of perceiving and acquiring knowledge is different What those staff should is make a detailed plan to enhance their English with the promotion of their own effective learning methods, expand their vocabulary, and take positive approach to all aspects of English  In terms of the organization A successful leader is always observant of what is good or bad for the company's growth Pantado, in my opinion, has to progressively alter in order to transform negatives into benefits 19 Firstly, senior managers have to pioneer in improving their language ability From that point, they will inspire employees about their learning spirit and English thinking ability Secondly, the company should take more dramatic measures to encourage staff to utilize English at work Every month, quarter, and year, for example, the corporation holds mini-competitions on English skills In particular, individuals who improve their qualifications in English will be considered for a salary increase by the company Thirdly, in order for the senior employees at the company not to be left behind, the company should open free and compulsory training courses on basic English communication knowledge with native speakers All employees must encourage each other to use English every day The departments plan meetings and make reports in English regularly The more exposure to English, the greater English progress In addition, foreign language proficiency requirements of new employees should be required Specifically, the interview process is divided into two parts, one on professional knowledge and the other on basic English communication It is essential because the degree does not reflect the candidate's ability to practice communication 20 CHAPTER – TOPIC SUGGESTIONS FOR A GREDUATION THESIS 4.1 Topic suggestions “A research on difficulties making writing strategies for the internship report of final year students majoring in Business English at Thuong Mai University” 4.2 Rationale The fast growth of electronic equipment, computers, and the Internet has created a new era of English class digitalization, providing ease to all With several benefits such as time savings, cost savings, flexibility in teaching, and so on However, in the process of studying and practicing online at Pantado JSC, I discovered numerous drawbacks to this method Although online education can strengthen skills such as listening, speaking, and reading, writing is never the top priority of this form Writing is a skill that assists language learners to enhance their memory, rearrange and clarify their views Learners might suppose they would something like this with a standard writing practice When they start implementing, though, everything they rewrite does not work as planned Students easily express and convey their opinions by speaking It is the opposite in terms of writing They write confused sentences and refuse to get out of the content Although there is a structure for the internship report, not everyone is capable of completing it precisely 21 CONCLUSION Overall, the internship was a wonderful and rewarding experience I can assume that my working at the Pantado JSC's training department
