Today Vietnam as well as many countries in the world have the demand to decorate the slreels with bedding flowers. So defining the fertilizer regime for bedding flowers, especially for imported varieties and lesting experimenl for new fertilizers are necessary. Our research focus on suitable regime of fertilizers for the imported variety and comparison of effectiveness between liquid fertilizers A, B and minerai fertilizer NPK. The results show that, fertilizers A, B have the positive effect on growth of the imported variety bedding flower Melampodium. The height of plant, diameter of canopy, the number of leaves in formulas fertilized with A, B are always higher than those in formulas fertilized with minerai NPK, for example: the number of blooms, flowers is higher, diameter of flowers is wider, naturai endurance is also longer and flowers have more striking colors. Mixture of liquid fertilizers A, B with ralio 1A:2B, concentration of 0,5% and doze of 2000 lit/ha are most appropriate formulary for growth and quality of flowers.

Salvia Spenden is a sort of bedding flower imported from Taiwan by Agricultural Genetic Institute (AGI) since 2005 for decorating Hanoi streets, parks and so on. Results of this study show that, nitrogen fertilizer plays important role to the growth and development of Salvia Spendens. Suitable dose of nitrogen fertilizer (125 kg N/ha) was found for Salvia Spendens, wilh this dose Salvia Spendens not only grows and develops very well, but also gives longer lasling flower.
