UNIT 5: NATURAL WONDERS OF THE WORLD Lesson 2: A closer look 1
I. Aims: : By the end of this lesson, Ss can pronounce correctly the sounds /t/ and /st/
use lexical items related to things in nature and travel items
* Preparations : Posters, pictures. A cassette II. Procedure :
1.Warm up: Imagine you are going to have a picnic, What things can you bring with?
Ss make a list of items related to travel 2. Vocabulary:

Allow Ss to compare their answers. Then play the recording the second time. Discuss the answers as a class.

- Choose a more able St to act as Vy, and read the sentences to the class. Ss tick True or False in the box provided. You can check Ss’ answers by the sentences again, asking Ss to stand if they think the sentence is true, or remain seated if they think the sentence is false.
2.2. While listening: Ss work in pair to do activity:
