The current researcher looked at the types of motivation the fifth graders at a Thai Nguyen Primary School held, as well as the the relationship between students’
motivation and their learning achievement in English. Here are a few ideas for additional research.
First, individuals who wish to understand more about young learners' motivation to learn English should devote more time and energy in studying a larger sample group, such as five grades at the same school or different private primary schools.
Additionally, it could be intriguing to identify the motivational techniques that can assist young learners in effectively learning English but which the researcher did not have the opportunity to explore.
Thirdly, it's crucial to carry out an investigation into factors affecting primary students’ motivation in learning English and their learning achievement because motivation is not the only factor influencing their learning outcomes.
Despite its limitations, it is hoped that this research would help teachers in a Primary School in Thai Nguyen gain insight into students' motivational patterns and the elements that influence their enthusiasm for learning English. Teachers can learn practical methods from these to implement in their own classroom settings in order to increase their students' interest in learning English.
