4.3 Hạn chế của nghiên cứu và hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo
Vì mọi nghiên cứu đều có một số hạn chế, nghiên cứu này cũng khơng ngoại lệ. Bởi vì dữ liệu đã được thu thập từ một nguồn, tức là tự quản lý câu hỏi, nó có thể dẫn đến sai lệch phương pháp phổ biến. Vì lý do này, chúng tơi đã chấp nhận một số thống kê (kiểm tra yếu tố đơn) và các biện pháp thủ tục (trộn các câu hỏi của quy mô khác nhau) để tránh sai lệch phương pháp chung (Podsakoff, MacKenzie, Lee, & Podsakoff, 2003). Do đó, nó khơng phải là vấn đề chính trong nghiên cứu của chúng tơi.
Tiếp theo, nghiên cứu hiện tại là nghiên cứu cắt ngang nên việc thiết lập mối quan hệ nhân quả giữa các biến số nghiên cứu còn hạn chế. Tương lai các nhà nghiên cứu có thể khắc phục giới hạn này bằng cách áp dụng thiết kế nghiên cứu theo chiều dọc bằng cách thu thập dữ liệu tại các thời điểm khác nhau để tổng quát hơn về kết quả.
Một hạn chế khác của nghiên cứu là chỉ các yếu tố cấp độ cá nhân đã được thực hiện như một yếu tố dự đoán và biến trung gian. Nghiên cứu tiếp theo có thể được thực hiện với một hỗn hợp thích hợp của các yếu tố cấp độ cá nhân và tổ chức với IOC để có được một hiểu biết sâu sắc hơn.
