- Nếu động từ đằng sau những danh từ này chia ở ngôi thứ 3 số nhiều thì nó ám chỉ các thành viên của tổ chức hoặc nhóm đó đang hoạt động riêng rẽ.
Ví dụ: The congress votes for the bill.

* Majority
Danh từ này đ−ợc dùng tuỳ theo danh từ đi đằng sau nó.
The majority + singular verb
The majority of the plural noun + plural verb.
Ví dụ: The majority believes that we are in no danger. The majority of the students believe him to be innocent.
L−u ý: Danh từ police luôn đ−ợc coi là danh từ ngôi thứ 3 số nhiều do vậy động từ đằng sau nó phải chia ở ngôi thứ 3 số nhiềụ
