9.1 Lối nói phụ hoạ khẳng định.
- Dùng để phụ hoạ lại ý khẳng định của một ng−ời khác t−ơng đ−ơng với câu tiếng việt “cũng thế ” vμ ng−ời ta sẽ dùng so vμtoo trong cấu trúc nμy.
- Động từ to be đ−ợc phép dùng trực tiếp, các động từ th−ờng dùng với trợ động từ to do, các động từ ở thời kép (future, perfect, progressive) dùng với chính động từ của nó.
- Khi be đ−ợc sử dụng trong mệnh đề chính thì thời của động từ be sử dụng trong câu phụ hoạ cũng phải cùng thời với be ở mệnh đề chính.

Ví dụ:

- Khi một động từ ở thể kép (auxilary + verb), ví dụ, will go, should do, has done, have written, must examine, vv... xuất hiện trong mệnh đề chính thì trợ động từ của mệnh đề chính đ−ợc sử dụng ở dạng khẳng định, vμ chủ ngữ vμ động từ phải hoμ hợp.
