Trong việc thu nhận ảnh, ảnh thu ở hai trƣờng hợp: ảnh tĩnh và video. Do đó, hƣớng phát triển tiếp theo của đề tài là thực hiện thu nhận ảnh trực tiếp từ camera và xử lý trực tuyến.

Việc chọn ảnh đƣợc thực hiện qua menu File/Open. Sau đó, nhấn nút OK để xác định vị trí bàn tay.

Ngoài ra, phần mềm còn có chức năng nhận dạng cử chỉ bàn tay từ video có sẵn thông qua menu Video. Khi menu này đƣợc chọn, sau khi nhận dạng, hệ thống tự động gởi dữ liệu ứng với cử chỉ nhận dạng đƣợc.
