5.2 Hạn chế và hướng nghiên cứu tương lai:

Ngoài những thông tin quan trọng đã nêu ở trên, nghiên cứu này giới hạn trong vài phương diện. Đầu tiên dữ liệu điều tra về IMR chỉcó trong 6 năm từ

những năm 1980. Số mẫu khảo sát thấp nên không cho phép thấy nhiều biến

động trong biến chính này. Thứ hai, dữ liệu trình độ học vấn của phụ nữ không

có, đây là hạn chế cho việc kết luận tác động của học vấn đối với phụ nữ mang thai lên IMRs. Cuối cùng phân cấp tài khóa được đo lường ở khía cạnh chi tiêu chỉ ở mức độ tổng hợp mà không tính toán đến tác động có thể có từ cơ cấu tổng thu và cơ cấu chi tiêu
