1.1.10.2. Các nghiên cứu ở Việt Nam
Hiện nay ở Việt Nam chƣa có tài liệu hay nghiên cứu nào đề cập đến phong cách cha mẹ trong gia đình có trẻ rối loạn tăng động giảm chú ý.
Tóm lại, các nghiên cứu ở châu Á, cụ thể là Trung Quốc cũng chỉ ra rằng trong tƣơng tác giữa cha mẹ và con cái, trẻ ADHD nhận đƣợc ít tình cảm, sự quan tâm chăm sóc hơn và chịu sự kiểm soát cao hơn so với những dứa trẻ bình thƣờng. Nhƣ vậy, cha mẹ trẻ ADHD cũng có phong cách độc đoán hơn so với cha mẹ của trẻ em bình thƣờng.

Về phong cách làm cha mẹ của phụ huynh trong gia đình có trẻ ADHD
Khái quát tình hình nghiên cứu về phong cách làm cha mẹ trong gia đình có trẻ rối loạn tăng động giảm chú ý bƣớc đầu đƣợc chúng tôi rút ra một số kết luận nhƣ sau:
Về phân loại phong cách làm cha mẹ, chúng tôi chọn phân loại theo ba phong cách: phong cách làm cha mẹ dân chủ, phong cách làm cha mẹ độc đoán và phong cách làm cha mẹ dễ dãi. Trong phân loại này, phong cách làm cha mẹ dân chủ đƣợc cho là phong cách làm cha mẹ hiệu quả hơn hẳn so với hai phong cách còn lại.
Thông qua phân tích và tổng hợp các nghiên cứu về tƣơng tác và phong cách làm cha mẹ của phu huynh trẻ ADHD trên toàn thế giới, kết luận đƣợc rút ra là cha mẹ của trẻ ADHD có phong cách làm cha mẹ độc đoán hơn so với cha mẹ của những trẻ em không có ADHD hoặc những trẻ em bình thƣờng. Phong cách làm cha mẹ của những phụ huynh này bị ảnh hƣởng bởi nhiều yếu tố nhƣ: kinh tế, xã hội, tình trạng sức khỏe tâm thần của cha mẹ, sự tự tin của cha mẹ trong nuôi dạy con cái, sự áp lực và căng thẳng của phụ huynh trẻ ADHD đến từ những hành vi bốc đồng hay tăng động của trẻ.
Các kết quả nghiên cứu cũng cho thấy hệ quả là trẻ ADHD thƣờng chịu sự kiểm soát và các phƣơng pháp trừng phạt nhiều hơn, đồng thời lại ít nhận đƣợc sự nồng ấm, quan tâm hơn từ cha mẹ.
Nhƣ vậy, từ các kết quả nghiên cứu của châu Âu và châu Á, chúng ta nhận thấy có những sự ảnh hƣởng tiêu cực qua lại giữa trẻ ADHD và cha mẹ của trẻ khi chƣa có sự hƣớng dẫn hay can thiệp nào của các công tác hỗ trợ và điều trị. Qua đó, chúng ta cũng nhận thấy tầm quan trọng của việc tìm hiểu kiểu tƣơng tác cũng nhƣ phong cách làm cha mẹ của phụ huynh trẻ ADHD trong bối cảnh ở Việt Nam.
