TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES 1 Say “Hello!”:
- Teacher comes in the class and say: “Hello!” or
“Hi!” and introduce: “I am Luong”
- Repeat the greetings again “ Hi, I am Luong”
- Write on the board
- Ask sts to stand up and repeat the greetings - Tell sts to say hello and introduce themselves - Ask sts to repeat as much as possible
2 Ask and answer
- Go around the class and tell each sts to stand up
and say “ Hello” or “ Hi” then introduce themselves
- Correct their pronunciation
3 Practice in pairs
- Ask sts to practice in pairs
- Tell them to say “Hello” and introduce themselves
- Call two sts to stand up and make the dialogues - Change the partners so that the sts can practice more
- Listen to the T carefully - Repeat after the T - Look at the board - Stand up and repeat
- Say “Hello” and introduce themselves
- Say “Hello” and “Hi”, then
introduce with “I am ……”
- Practice in pairs
- Change the partner and make the same dialouge
IV. Conclusion: Now, sts can greet each other and introduce themselves
