Getting started + Listen and read A- Objectives:

Help Ss introduce and describe people with their activities

By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to introduce their friends, their activities and appearance They will be able to understand the structures:

II Checking the old lesson:

One student goes to the board and writes form of "The past simple tense" and make a sentence using that form

One student retells the adverbs of frequency, make a sentence III New lesson:

1 Read the dialogue.

Structure of appearance

What do/ does + S + look like ? S + be + adj

Eg: S1: What does Hoa look like ? S2: She's tall and thin

2 Now take turn to make similar dialogues use the adjectives in the table.

- Build: tall , short, slim, thin, fat, muscular

- Hair: straight, curly, long, blond, fair, bold, short, brown, dark/ black

- Eye: blue, green, brown, sharp - Ear: big, small

- Forehead: high, low

- Face: round, long, oval, high cheekbone

Eg: T: This person is fat His hair is bald

S1: Is this Van ? T: No

After the game we know character of the people in our class

Each person has his/ her own character We are going to read a text about Ba's friends and each of them has his own character
