Adverbs of frequences ( Trạng từ tần xuất ) :

Adverbs of frequences : thường đứng trước động từ thường sau đông từ Tobe Always: luôn

Usually: thường thường Often: thường

Sometimes / occasionally: Never: không

Ex : I am never free on Mondays She always watches TV. Exercise:

Put adverbs of frequences in correct positions

1 She gets up at 6:15 in the mornings ( usually) He is busy from Mondays to Saturdays ( always) Hoa’s uncle plays chess in the evenings ( often) He is a good student ( always)

5 I am free on Sundays ( usually) Does he go to school by bus? ( often) Fast food is good ( rarely)

Let’s + V( ifinitive)……… ………… Why don’t we + V( infinitive)……… ? What about + V-ing……… ? Ex: Let’s go buy motorbikes Why don’t we go by bike? What about walking?

III Indefinitive quentifiers (Đại lượng không hạn định)

Afew ( chút, ít) : đứng trước danh từ đếm số nhiều.( ex: afew books, afew pens….) A little ( chút, ít) : đứng trước danh từ khơng đếm ( alittle time, alittle money, alittle rice…)

A lot of / lots of ( nhiều): đứng trước danh từ đếm danh từ không đếm câu khẳng định

Some ( vài) : dùng câu khẳng định đứng trước danh từ đếm danh từ không đếm

Any ( vài) : dùng câu phủ định nghi vấn trước danh từ đếm danh từ không đếm

A ( một) : đứng trước danh từ số đếm có âm tiêt phụ âm

An (một) : đứng trước danh từ số đếm có âm tiêt nguyên âm ( u, e, o, a, i)

Exercise:
