Date of preparing: 7/9/2017 Week Period UNIT 1: NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN Lesson ( 1, 2, 3) I Objectives: Knowledge: - By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to - Pronounce correctly the sound of the letters “ l ” and that of the letter “ n ” - Vocabulary: morning, afternoon, , England, Vietnam - Grammar : Good morning, Skills: Listening-reading-speaking-writing Attitude: Educate Sts to love their lesson Work hard III TEACHING AIDS: Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks II TEACHING METHODS: - Work in pairs , individual, in groups … IV PROCEDURE: Class organization: - Greeting: Good morning/ Good afternoon How are you? - Checking for the students’ attendence: Class Date of teaching Absent Students 4C 12/9/2017 Warm up :6’ - Say greetings - Have Ss play the game: Slap the board good night afternoon New lesson Teacher’s and students’ activities Content * Activity 1: (7’) Listen and repeat Introduce the sounds /l/ and /n/ - Ps’ attention on the letters colored differently in the words Linda and night Ss learn to produce the sound of the letters “ l” in the word Linda and that of the letter “n” in the word Good night - Ps practice the sounds carefully - Listen and repeat Read in groups./ in pairs - Some Ss reports the answer The rest of the class listen and give comments * Activity 2: (10’) Listen and circle Then write and say - Read sentences and guess the suitable aloud words to circle Keys: a b 3.b a - Listen to the recording times and circle Check their guess Compare the answer with the partner - Ss write on the boad the sentences The rest of the class write in the notebooks Check and correct *Activity 3:7’ Let’s chant - Introduce the Chant Hello -Teacher reinforce their pronunciation Ps listen to the tape and chant Ps chant in group and individual Ps chant and the action * Homelink: (3’) Do exercises in the workbook Learn by heart the new words and structures Consolidation: (3’) What’s the content of the lesson?
