Lesson 2: Part 1-2-3 I Objectives: Knowledge: By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to: Use the words and phrases related to the topic Pets - Ask and answer questions about pets, using Do you have any + ( word for pets)? - Ask and answer about the location of pets, using Where are the + ( word for pets )? - Sentence Partners: - Vocabulary: cute, parrot, rabbit, goldfish Skills: - Develop Ss speaking and listening skills Attitude: Educate Sts to love their lesson Work hard *S Phuc – Class 3B will be able to identify some pets III TEACHING AIDS: Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks II TEACHING METHODS: - Work in pairs , individual, in groups … IV PROCEDURE: Class organization: - Greeting: Good morning/ Good afternoon How are you? - Checking for the students’ attendence: Class Date of teaching Absent Students 3A 2/4/2018 ………………………… 3B 4/4/2018 ………………………… 3C 2/4/2018 ………………………… 3D 2/4/2018 ………………………… Warm up :6’ Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson by having some pairs ask and answer the questions about the pets they have, using Do you have any pets? And What pets you have? New lesson Teacher’s and students’ activities * Activity 1: (7’) - Tell ps that they are going to practise speaking about where their pets are Draw ps attention to the first picture and elicit the names of the characters and the Content Look, listen and repeat text in the bubbles Check comprehension, give feedback and have ps repeat the text a few times Repeat the procedue with the second picture - Do choral and individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking - Play the recording again for pupils to listen and say along * Activity 2: (10’) Point and say - Tell ps that they are going to practise asking and Structures answing questions Where are my cats?
