Date of preparing: 13/9/2018 WEEK Period Unit : Letter A Lesson3 I Aims: Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:  Recognize and say the three Aa words correctly  Do the corresponding actions  Read the story Sing letter Aa song Vocabulary :ant, apple, alligator, acrobat Skills: Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing 3.Attitude:-Recognize and say a new A word correckly Requirements:students with disability can to paint the picture but slow II Teaching aids Teacher’s:i-Learn My Phonics Grade , lesson plan, CD Phonics cards Students’: Pupil’s Book , Activity Book III.Teaching methods -Communicative approach -Techniques:+ Ask and answer (say individually) + Work in pairs/ groups Discuss IV Procedures:Time: 35’-40’ Organization: (2’ ) - Greeting - Checking for the students' attendance Class Date of teaching Absent Students 1A 17/9/2018 ………………………… 1B 17/9/2018 ………………………… 1C 20/9/2018 ………………………… 1D 19/9/2018 ………………………… 2.Warm up: ( 5ms) Play the song from Unit 2, ask students to sing along and corresponding actions 3.Newlesson Teacher’s and Students’ activities Content Activity 6: Ask the students to take out their colour pencils/ crayons  Name some colours and ask the students to repeat  Use the structure: “I like ” and ask the students hold up the colour pencils/ crayons they like  Have the students colour the apples that Colour the apples that have Aa in them (8 mins) have Aa in them  Ask sts with disability point and using crayon right pictures *( Requirements:students with disability can to paint the picture but slow)  Give the students minutes to colour in the apples that have Aa in them Go around the classroom providing any necessary help Activity:  Number the apples in exercise from one to six  Ask the students to put their thumbs up if the apple has Aa in it and put their thumbs down if the apple does not have Aa in it e.g Teacher: (point to the apple number one Thumbs Up or Down (5 mins) in the book) Whole class : play game Apple number one Up or Down? Class: (putting their thumbs up) Teacher: Good! And apple number two? Up or Down? - Ask sts with disability practice Activity 7: Show the students the acrobat phonics card Point to it and say: // - acrobat Ask them to repeat  Mime trying to keep balance and say: // acrobat Encourage the students to the Listen Point and repeat same (Track 07) (10ms)  Point to the pictures, the students the corresponding actions and say the words *( Requirements:students with disability can repeat )  Have students colour the pictures of the words that start with the a sound Activity: Craftwork  Ask the students to take out their notebooks  Ask them to choose one word then draw the - acrobat: diễn viên nhào lộn, Diễn viên leo dây letter and the picture in their notebooks  Tell them to colour the letter and the Craftwork (10 mins) picture Practice whole class  The three first students who finish will show their picture to the class  Ask sts with disability practice *(Requirements: students with disability can to colour the letter but can’t draw ) Consolidation: (3’) What’s the content of the lesson? Homelink: (3’) Do exercises in the workbook Learn by heart the new words Comments: ……………………………………………………………………………………… ……………………………………………………………………………………… ……………………………………………………………………………………… Period Unit : Letter A Lesson 4( part1-2-3-4) I AIMS Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:  Recognize and say the three Aa words correctly  Do the corresponding actions  Read the story Sing letter Aa song Vocabulary :Revision -ant, apple, alligator, acrobat Skills: Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing 3.Attitude:-Recognize and say a new A word correckly Requirements:students with disability can complete II Teaching aids Teacher’s:i-Learn My Phonics Grade , lesson plan, CD Phonics cards Students’: Pupil’s Book , Activity Book p.2 & III.Teaching methods -Communicative approach -Techniques:+ Ask and answer (say individually) + Work in pairs/ groups Discuss IV Procedures:Time: 35’-40’ Organization: (2’ ) - Greeting - Checking for the students' attendance Class 1A 1B 1C 1D 2.Warm up:5ms Date of teaching 17/9/2018 21/9/2018 20/9/2018 17/9/2018 Absent Students ………………………… ………………………… ………………………… ………………………… Have the students listen to the chant in lesson Unit 3.Newlesson Teacher’s and Students’ activities Content 1.Trace and say (Page – Activity 1: Activity Book) (8 mins)  Write on the board the big A and small a  Point to the letter A and say out loud “This is the A………………… letter A // The letter A says /a/”  Point to the letter a and say out loud “This is the letter a // The letter a says /a/” a………………  Have the class repeat its sound chorally, then individually  Ask sts with disability say and read A *( Requirements: students with disability can say aloud very slowly )  Have the students say the sound individually, correct the pronunciation if necessary Activity 2:  Copy the box from the book to the board  Tell the students that you are going to write the letter Aa into the box  Demonstrate the writing  Put Phonics cards of an ant and a bee  Draw small square boxes underneath them on the board  Ask the students which one goes with letter Aa and then tick the correct box Tell the students that they are going to write the letter Aa in the boxes in their book and tick the correct picture that corresponds to the - Ask sts with disability write the letter Aa in the boxes in book Activity Writing  Put the Phonics card (ant) on the board  Copy the dashed line from question in the book to the board  Demonstrate tracing the line to connect the ant and the word nt  Ask the students for the missing letter and write it in the gap  Have the students the same procedure in their book  Ask sts with disability for the missing letter and write it in the gap 2,Write the letter Aa Then () (page – Activity Book) (8 mins) Writing & Reading Answer keys: ant, acrobat Trace and Write a (Page – Activity Book) ) (9 mins) ………… _nt ………… _apple ……… .lligator Answer keys: ant, alligator, apple *( Requirements:students with disability can complete)  Go around and give help as needed Activity  Show and point to each picture on page and say the sound and then the word Students listen and nod or shake their head If they nod, trace a circle with your finger around the picture For example: a…, a… ,a… ,a ……….acrobat a…, a… ,a… ,a ……….ball  Have the students circle the pictures of the words starting with the a sound  Go around providing any necessary help  -Ask sts with disability trace a circle with your finger around the picture Circle the pictures of the words that begin with the a sound (page – Activity book) (8 mins) Answer keys: acrobat, ant, apple, alligator Consolidation: (3’) What’s the content of the lesson?
