a To talk about actions that started in the past and continue in the present
E.g My grandmother has lived here for all her life
b To talk about actions happened in an indefinite time in the past
E.g I have lost my keys I can’t find them now
2.3 Time expressions: Present perfect tense (thì hi n t i hồn ệ thành)
- since + a point of time
E.g since 1919, since I was born - for + a period of time
E.g for ten years, for three hours
- Adverbs: recently, already, yet, never, ever… Practice
