LESSON PLAN

Unit7: World population Speaking

1 Class description:

- 40 students (Ss) in 11A2 class at Ngo Thi Nham high school 2 Level:

- Intermediate 3 Time: 45 m 4 Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: talk about the causes of population explosion, problems of population booms and solutions to these problems

5 Assumed knowledge:

- Ss have already known some vocabulary items related to the topic 6 Anticipated problem(s):

- There may be time left, so the teacher (T) should spend more time for Ss doing task

- Ss may not have enough vocabulary to talk about the topic, so T should be ready to provide help 7 Teaching aids:

- Books, handouts, visual aids, chalks and board

- Reminds Ss about matching the words/ phrases on the left with the words/ phrases on the right
