By the end of the lesson,Ss will be able to ask and answer question about house facilities

III.Techniques: What and where, Slap the board IV Resource and teaching aids:

- Resource: Book page 14

- Teaching aids: Cassette, pictures, extra paper V.Procedure:

1 Warm-up( minutes) @Play game: What and where

2 Presentation:(10 minutes). @ T explain the new words

- pond (picture): ao - gate (picture): cổng rào - yard (picture): sân - fence (picture): hàng rào @ T has Ss play game Ss play "Slap the board"

@ Explain sentence pattern: Is there a garden?

- Yes, there is/ No, there isn't.

- Tell Ss to practise introducing one’s friend and responding to the introduction in pairs by using the prompts in the bubbles

- Go round collects Ss’ mistakes - Have Ss to correct their mistakes

- Check as a class and correct pronunciation

- Put the sentences on the board and lets Ss in open pairs, close pairs - T corrects the pronunciation if necessary

- T calls some groups to act out in front of the class 5 Homework:(1 minute)

- Learn by heart: practice speaking

b.Sentence pattern: Revision: Is there a garden? - Yes, there is/ No, there isn't c Skill: listening , speaking and writing

III.Techniques: guessing , lap the board IV Resource and teaching aids:

- Resource: Book page 15

- Teaching aids: cassette, pictures, extra paper V.Procedure:

1 Warm-up( minutes) @Play game: guessing game.

- Have Ss to look at pictures in the book to play the game S1: Is there a pond in your house?

S2: No, there isn’t

S3: Is there a yard in your house? S2: Yes, there is

2 Presentation:(5 minutes). @ T explain the new words

- Explain the situation and how to the exercise

-Ask Ss to read the words in the box and uncomplete passage in the book and then choose the suitable words to complete the passage

- Focus Ss to look at the picture about Phong’s house - Have Ss to read and complete the passage individual - Have Ss to compare with friends

- Have Ss to read in front of the whole class - Correct the pronunciation

- Tell Ss that they are going to read and answer the questions about their house on their book

- Ask some Ss to read their answers aloud to the class

- Make a few questions to check pupils’ comprehension of the answer

- Have the whole class read one by one the sentences chorally to reinforce their pronunciation
